With Windows 95, Microsoft introduced a program known as ‘PowerToys’. PowerToys is basically a set of tools designed to enhance and improve the Windows operating system’s experience. The PowerToys is seen on Windows XP as well, and it’s again made available for Windows 10.

PowerToys is a set of freeware system utilities designed for power users. The utilities of PowerToys were meant to maximize productivity or add more customization options.
Previously, PowerToys is available only for Windows 95 and Windows XP. However, recently it was made available for Windows 10. The new PowerToys utility for Windows 10 is designed to enhance and improve Windows 10 in useful ways.

Steps to Download & Install PowerToys in Windows 10
As of now, PowerToys is not available through the Microsoft Store. However, interested users can still download it from the Github link. Follow some of the simple steps given below to install PowerToys in Windows 10.
Step 1. First of all, open this GitHub Link and download the PowerToys executable file.
Step 2. Run the executable file and wait until the installation completes.
Step 3. Once completed, launch the PowerToys application from the notification area (system tray).
Step 4. Right-click on the Powertoys icon and select ‘Settings.’
Step 5. Now you will see a screen like below. You will find the features on the left pane of the screen.
Step 6. To update Powertoys, click on the ‘General’ tab and click on the ‘Check for updates’ button.
