GAC New Energy Aion V will officially start pre-sale on April 27, 2020. As the third model of GAC New Energy Aion series, it is built on the second-generation GEP2 pure electric platform, positioning as a pure electric compact SUV.
There are four range version models, NEDC endurance mileage is 311 mi, 323 mi, 329 mi and 373 mi.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor provided by Nidec, with a maximum power of 184 horsepower and a peak torque of 350 Nm. The 373 mile long range model is equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack, and its battery system energy density reaches 173Wh / kg.
Supercharging costs about $0.15 to $0.25 per kWh (depending on your area) or roughly $8 to $15 “per tank” on a typical 20-80% charge.
