All the Japanese influences in crypto

Do repost and rate:

Cryptocurrency seems to have an obsession with Japan and Japanese words.

It begins of course with 'Satoshi Nakamoto'; although I doubt he is Japanese and of course may be a group rather than one person, apparently he is "not Dorian".

Next up consider Samourai Wallet for your Bitcoin mixing needs, and Dojo  for your node

How about investing with Travis Kling with Ikigai

Then there's Sushi  with its Bento and Onsen

And how about some Matcha ?

And Kusama (Polkadot's Canary network) is a Japanese family or last name.

There are some others like the micropayments project Omise Go (Omise means store or shop in Japanese).

And much wow, one of the original three coins, Dogecoin, has its Shibes from the Shiba inu dog breed which is the emblem.

So why do many crypto projects use Japanese words?

Well, I guess they sound cool, there are a lot of Japanese connections to Bitcoin, etc.

A lot of the "players" live or have lived in Japan (Roger Ver, Jed McCaleb, Mark Karpeles, for example).

And remember these guys?

Any other projects I have missed? Let me know in the comments.

And once COVID passes how about living and working in Japan?

Here are some cool but budget places to stay.
