Renowned NFT conglomerate Yuga Labs is in hot water due to allegations of intellectual property theft.

BAKC Logo is intellectual property of some other company

On February 17, an account named Colombo claimed that the logo for Yuga Labs' Bored Ape Kennel Club (BAKC) resembles a wolf skull follow-along drawing guide made for kids by a company named Easy Drawing Guides.

After this, Easy Drawing Guides also claimed the BAKC logo as its intellectual property.

The co-founder of Yuga Labs, Greg Solano ("Garga"), played innocent to the accusations and decided to change the BAKC logo as well as investigate the claim of intellectual property. It is believed that this logo has been used without permission from Google.

Efforts are also being made to avoid any claim on the profits arising out of this project.

Dispute begins over intellectual property rights

Supporters and opponents of Yuga labs are now face to face. Supporters are assuming that Yugo labs will win the case if it happens, but detractors think that Yugo labs can settle smartly.
