So I'm sure y'all have heard enough about NFT (Non Fungible Tokens) to either be really excited or sick of hearing about them. Either way, I want to bring to your attention a type of NFT that is very interesting. If you follow XYO, you are probably familiar with the XYO World project, if not, I've included a link to the official homepage of the project. Basically, you can purchase and "mint" geotokens that represent a physical space on the surface of the planet. This will allow you to control the digital LEDGER of said geospatial area and collect XYO tokens as it is used. I've also included a Twitter link from the XYO Official account that does a much better job of outlining/explaining what XYO World is and the utility of the NFTs you produce within the project.
One of the crippling issues with XYO World up to this point, are the exorbitant ETH gas fees to mint your tokens. There is a substantial buzz around this and it is likely that XYO is working to migrate off of the Ethereum network and go with an alternative or second layer network on Ethereum to greatly reduce these fees. If this happens, the sky is the limit for minting and use case of these NFTs, along with profit. Just another way XYO is working hard to grow their projects behind the XYO ERC20 token (real utility!).
