Sony corporation the Japonise electronic giant is looking to launch a patent which will soon allow cryptocurrencies to be used as betting in esports live event so this new system will allow gamblers to bet live as they are watching a game live.
This pattent won’t be a Sony exclusive,it will also be ported to the other gaming consoles such as Xbox,Nontendo and also PCs.
Sony is the only gaming company interested into cryptocurrency and blockchain right now. Could this be Sony only adoption into cryptocurrencies? I don’t think so ,I believe this is the the first adoptio n that Sony is going to take, this is is gonna be a more of a test flight to see where is at and the most expected thing is gonna a be a move like the on Ubisoft made by joining the Tezos (CRYPTO: XTZ) project as a corporate backer in late April to start maintaining the blockchain by validating transaction
Sony is looking ahead for the cryptocurrencies that they are gonna use as a payment method and also implemented in games as Nfts which will create a new Sony Ecosystem
