I have been using BetFury for several weeks now and have written a couple of times about how I try to gain a steady supply of BTC and BNB without losing too much to their sneaking gambling tricks (here is one article). There are two things I have learned about the Raccoon-Powered site so far:
1. Their gambling features will eFF you over and there is no way I believe that their odds are fair in my personal experience...too often I have had bad luck streaks that statistically should happen about once a decade. Multiple iterations, practically back to back, of 1 in 1,000,000, 1 in 10,000,000, and even steeper-odds losing streaks with no real winning streaks does not increase my confidence! Like, when you have a 96% chance of winning a bet, it shouldn't be the norm that you lose 8 of 10 bets. That's crazy. The house always wins in any casino, and I suspect that online casinos *especially* use all the same algorithms that every other website uses to learn about your individual habits and mangle your hopes and dreams like a rabid raccoon mangles a curious little cute fluffy puppy. Sad.
2. Whenever things get quiet and I start to think that maybe my love-hate relationship with BetFury is coming to an end, they have a big announcement. They almost always have an exciting surprise to spring! First with was adding ETH, then BNB, and now...well, FIFTY - yes 50! - altcoins are coming into the platform.
Their first wave already launched today:
These are not crappy little tokens. This list includes some of the most-hyped ERC-20 tokens around. You can't have touched PublishOx without hearing about BAT, and both Enjin and Chiliz have gotten tons of excited press in the NFT world. ChainLink and Ox (ZRX) is seen in DeFi circles quite a bit as far as I can tell (I confess I have seen the coin but not looked into it). In other words, BetFury is tantalizing us with the possibility of getting exposure to a whole slew of exciting Altcoins.
From their announcement materials, there seem to be 2 ways to get in on this first wave of Altcoins.
First, you can deposit the relevant ERC-20 coin onto the BetFury platform and then lock them in one of their "Boxes." BetFury boxes pay interest over a pre-determined time period. You can withdraw earned interest at any point, but you only get your principal back after the allotted time. The most common durations are 7 and 30 days. I bought both 7 and 30 day BNB boxes and they worked as advertised. The downside here is that you need to have the "boxed" coin (currently LINK), you most likely have to pay gas fees to move them from your wallet to BetFury (I haven't tried this so I don't know what this might cost right now...probably both kidneys and one of your eyeballs), and you do need to lock up your staking principle. Still, I would do it if I had the coin and it didn't cost too much. Unlike their gambling, I do trust them to pay what they promise.
Second, you can earn each of these coins based on the ETH you currently have on their site. I get ETH (in tiny motes of ETH dust) via their daily staking rewards. Daily staking rewards are earned by holding 10 or more of their native coin, BFG. How do you get BFG? You gamble. Hmm, didn't I just say that their gambling will mangle you like a dumpster panda chowing down on a sweet innocent puppy? I did. So be cautious. I gamble (meaning, I lose) some portion of my daily faucet proceeds just to keep adding little bits to my BFG stake. But every day I am adding to my BTC and BNB amounts. I am careful and I expect to lose and I definitely never try to chase the odds when the losing streak becomes literally unbelievable. Here is what the sequence looks like:
Click faucet and get factions of BNB and BTC --> gamble away a little BNB --> receive BFG for your total wagers --> receive little bits of BTC, BNB, ETH, TRX, USDT, and BTT for your BFG --> and then I am assuming you will receive little bits of LINK, BAT, ENJ, CHZ, and ZRX for having ETH.
Is it easer just to add some frigging ETH and LINK and deposit in a box? Yes. Yes, yes, yes! I will be doing this myself once I can afford the gas. But I also like FREE! Have I mentioned this before? My favorite thing in Cryptoworld is free stuff for free. Even if the endgame of being able to withdraw my Altcoins and friends is months away, I am willing to put a little time in to get free stuff for free. It is totally up to you of course!
And That's Not All! Haha!
One of the exciting pieces of this "Altcoin Spring" is the anticipation of what comes next. If you look at the list of coins you get in return for staking BFG, you will see that multiple blockchains are supported...Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, and BINANCE are already integrated into their system. Think of the cool Altcoins that keep getting mentioned and keep your FOMO bubbling in the wee hours of the night! Who knows what is next?

If you are a Free-for-Free Fan, then start using those faucets. The payout is not anything that is going to get you rich quick, but it adds up over time and is reasonably competitive with other faucets. Right now you can pull 1.5 BTC Satoshi and 550 BNB Binoshis (is that what they're called) every 20 minutes. Decide what amount of that you are willing to give back to BetFury and gamble with that portion and only that portion. For example, you might be willing to part with only 1 hours worth of faucet drips, so you pick one of their games and set a max loss of 1650 Binoshis (I'm sticking with this word!). You won't get much BFG for that unless you go on a beginner's luck winning streak (which I do think BetFury uses to try to hook people). But you are on your way, and you are in position to benefit if BetFury makes any more kooky announcements about Altcoins or other developments. The final step is, once you feel confident in the site, it can make a little difference to your stakes to add your own referrals.
