Why I don't invest in Bitcoin

I know Bitcoin is the grand-daddy of all Bitcoin. I respect it for that. I know one day Bitcoin will turn into like the Gold standard of crypto. There will be other cryptos that are used as payment tokens and such but not Bitcoin.

I am not saying I don't want any Bitcoin or do faucets and games that pay me out in Bitcoin, but I am not actively going after it. I am not buying the dip on Bitcoin. I am also not selling the highs of Bitcoin. What Bitcoin I have, I have and I will leave it as it is. There is 1 reason for that and I feel like nobody is talking about it. So I will.

I look at it this way. What is the ceiling price of Bitcoin? This is an impossible questions because 10 years ago the answer would have been probably a lot less then what it is worth now. My Honest guess is that in the next 2 years it's ceiling is $100,000 per Bitcoin and with a total Bitcoin amount of 21,000,000 that means the total Bitcoin valuation is $2.1 trillion. That is insanity just writing that out.

I know people will say that "Oh TrocProcLock you can't know the ceiling of a cryptocurrency, that is the benefit of crypto". And they are true but really ask yourself here what you think the ceiling is in 2 years. You also have to remember that the greater the value the more USD a price fluctuation will be. Bitcoin is around $45,000 right now. And THETA is around $7. Let's say the Crypto market took a 10% cut in the next hour. If I was holding 1 Bitcoin I would have lost $4,5000 and if I was holding 1 Theta I would have lost $0.70. Yes apples and oranges and all that but the principle still remains guys.

The bigger you are the more you have to lose. The smaller you are the less you have to lose and the more you have to gain. So for me personally if I am going to "invest" into a Crypto I am going to invest in one that I think has a better chance of a return on my investment. Let's take Theta for example. I truly feel like in 2 years time that Theta could be worth $100 but let's say $50 to be more reserved. That means whatever I invest in Theta right now will have a 7 times return on my investment. If I buy $100 of Theta it would be worth $700. If I bought $1,000 of Theta it would be worth $7,000 and so on.

Everybody talks about Bitcoin like it still can make you all rich and truthfully it probably can't at all. But in the same breath there are a lot of other ALT coins that won't make you rich either. Hence why I ALWAYS have said to back a crypto/project that fills a void and has a use case. Those are the ones that will stand the test of time and you will make money off of.

Bitcoins don't grow on trees. It has a fixed amount of tokens. So by that fact and the law of supply and demand I believe the price will keep on growing but just not at the rate it has been growing.

But then again this is the joys and struggles of Crypto, knowing which coin to back and which one not to. I can't fault anyone for buying Bitcoin as a investment. BUT I just know for me I rather take that smaller gamble and buy Theta or TFUEL and have the possibility of a greater return on my investment.

**This isn't financial advice to you. This is just my opinion to get people to think about crypto in other ways and not just buy into the hype**
