Were you a Lympo App user?
I will be honest with you.
I wanted to join since it first launched, but it was not available for my country (Greece)
So even though I was silently watching how it was doing, I could not join and did not join even afterwards.
Lympo was a prestigious and well known app. It launched back in 2018, during a marathon. It did make a bang back then and I remember that it was great looking from a 'social' point of view!
I noticed that even its social media channels are closed now.
So, what did the mail I received inform us about?
Did you use Lympo App? We have some bad and some good news for you.
Let's start with the bad ones - we are officially discontinuing the Lympo App.
The good news?
We’ll be rewarding all users for their time spent in the app. Throughout this whole year, we'll be running a special campaign committed to the Lympo App sunsetting. Keep on reading for the key things you need to know.

It is kind of sad seeing an app that seemed to be successful to stop operation like that. I am happy to see that they are thoughtful for their members offering them some rewards for their time.

What are your thoughts on this?
I believe that rewarding apps are certainly the future and we will see many new coming out in the open, in the next years.
Our time is very valuable and the users who now know it AND have a say to this, will be very selective in the near future.
Especially move to earn has great potential and I will be happy to see it grow, providing more incentive the to users for being healthy.
