Saitama started off as a meme coin in June 2021 called "SaitamaInu" once the new core team took over the project they started making changes and developments as soon as they could, around August-September they dropped the "Inu" from it's name "Saitama" they released a Beta App "Saitamask" like any other DeFi wallet Saitamask was a wallet part of the "Saitama Ecosystem" after the team member who was working on the app left and some complications took place so the CTO found a team of IT developers and created "SaitaPro" which is working flawlessly, since it's launch and until now Saitama has released a few products, these include: SaitaRealty, SaitaLogistics, SaitaSwap & its infamous SaitaCard.

Why Saitama?
What makes Saitama stand out from any other token in the crypto space is, it went from being a meme coin to a coin of the crypto ecosystem in basic terms it became another blue chip with other coins in the market including; ETH, ADA, MATIC, DOGECOIN, SHIBAINU, EOS etc. you name it, the way this was accomplished is by getting well qualified blockchain developers to build Saitama's very own blockchain, literally, for example, Bitcoin & Ethereum is a Layer 1 blockchain whereas Shibarium is Layer 2 blockchain (This is a technical field and i don't want to miswrite anything on these topics so please do further research via google) Saitachain however is a Layer 0 blockchain, such as the Cosmos, Polkadot, and Avalanche networks "Layer 0 refers to the foundational layer of a blockchain network, the first layer of all blockchain protocols, seamlessly integrating all other protocols to construct interconnected value chains and providing a more robust and evolved alternative to smart contracts."
