If you are using the wax network to collect NFTs or play games like Alien Worlds then you have probably come across CPU issues at some point and have had to stake some of your WAX tokens to CPU to continue. but are you aware you can actually claim 2 different types of rewards for doing this daily that will give you more WAX?
The first way is to proxy your vote and claim daily staking rewards, which are added to your stakes. You can do this within your WAX wallet,
Click on staking rewards on the left menu, select who to proxy your vote with and click vote, then claim rewards, once claimed a timer will count down until you can make the next claim.
These rewards are added to your staking balance as Genesis WAX tokens and you can then claim extra rewards from Genesis tokens staked. If you ever unstake the tokens they will become normal WAX tokens and you will not be able to claim from them.
To claim your Genesis rewards you need to go to https://wax.bloks.io/ and search for your account, click on wallet on the top menu and then claim GBM rewards on the left menu, you will be asked to login to your account. You can then click on the claim Genesis button which will add the rewards to your wax account as normal WAX tokens. You can also claim your staking rewards here if you choose to.
