Walk And Collect The Dust!

So, I have found my new favourite free coin source. I ran across it quite by accident whilst browsing articles here on PUBLISH0X about a month ago. What is it you ask? It's Coin Hunt World!

Sure, it's definitely not new, its been around for 2 years now, but I'd never heard of it. I've been looking for a coin app that meshes well with my lifestyle, which is semi-active. I've tried a number of them, most notably Sweat Coin, which was my favourite up until I found Coin Hunt World.

What draws me to this Play to Earn game is that it's pretty easy to get into, it is easy to play, and the payouts have been pretty awesome for a free to play game. There are definitely pros and cons to the game of course, it's probably not for everyone, but everyone should check it out just to see if it works for them.

As I mentioned, it is completely free and easy to play. It's very similar to the Pokemon game that was all the rage a few years back. You basically download the app and start walking. As you walk you open chests that are placed around the landscape. Each chest requires a key of the same colour, and each requires you to answer a trivia question from one of a variety of selectable categories. Once opened, each chest offers a reward of either BTC or ETH dust, as well as some in game crafting resources. It's not a lot per chest, but it can add up quickly. In exactly one month of play for me I have earned just over $12 in BTC dust and a whopping $21 in ETH. Sure, its not income replacing, but over time it will add up significantly for someone who has no other real access to obtaining cryptocurrencies. For me this game actually pays me more than 4 times what I earn from all of the other sources I have, other than what I get from staking my hard earned gatherings.

There are some cons to the game, so be sure to look into it and do your own diligence.

The first that can put people off is that it only pays out to an Uphold account currently. So you would need to register and complete the mandatory KYC. There goes the privacy that some of us value deeply. It's not a big deal for me as crypto is so tightly regulated here that I already track all of my dust earnings to report for tax purposes anyway.

The second downside, for me at least, is the prospect of winter. I'm pretty sure I won't be going out for long walks when the temperatures drop to -30 C. This means that my average income from the game will take a hit for a few months a year at least.

The third hit that this game could take is for those who live in rural areas, or unseeded countries. There are very few chests to open in rural areas, and there are apparently a number of countries that haven't been seeded yet. There are ways to overcome this, but it takes time and effort, and recruitment in most cases. It hasn't been an issue for me, but I live in a metropolitan area.

The upsides more than overcome these issues for me. I like that the payout is so high compared to other walking apps. I also like that it pays BTC (Sats) and ETH (GWEI). I also like how simple it is to use, and how you can create a little control of your game play once you hit a certain point.

There are a few other quirks in the game play that I dislike, but I will maybe talk about them in another post in the near future.

Anyway, here's my referral link to join Coin Hunt World:
