Vault Staking Voted on our First Proposal!

I, no, WE voted on our first governance proposal on the Polygon Mainnet! This was proposal number 5 on the network, which was for the following:

• 1.  Increasing voting period from the current value of 1 hour to 1 day: This is in order to give enough time for the validators to vote.
• 2.  Increasing Polygon Chain Confirmations to 512 blocks: Polygon Chain Confirmations is the no of blocks that should have been already created on Bor (child chain) after the block until which the checkpoint is being submitted. The current value is 128 blocks, which could prove to be low in cases of deep reorgs.
• 3.  Increasing Main Chain Confirmations to 12 blocks: This is currently at 6 blocks. Main Chain Confirmations is the no of blocks before the latest block on main chain (Ethereum) that we consider while syncing the state events to Polygon chain.

These are all positive changes to the network, especially increasing the voting period to 1 day to allow all validators to look at the proposal, ask questions, and vote. 

With just about 900 million Matic voting for 'yes' (with 0 voting 'abstain', 'no', and 'no_with_veto'), our 4.5 million Matic was about 0.5% of the vote. This doesn't sound like much, but we are 143 delegators strong, and every little bit counts.
