1. Kava 10 Mainnet Launch

Kava 10 mainnet upgrade initially scheduled for May 10, 2022, is finally around the corner. According to reports, the postponement was in a bid to adequately prepare for a smooth launch. The much-anticipated mainnet launch will now take place on May 25, 2022.

Interestingly, Kava is a layer-1 blockchain known for its lightning speed and interoperability.

2. Rigel Protocol Auto-Period Launch

DeFi platform, Rigel Protocol announces details of its upcoming Auto-period feature. The feature is set to launch on May 24, 2022. Also, according to the announcement, the Auto-Period feature will help automate investing in the DeFi space. With it, users will be able to seamlessly carry out automated DeFi trades. They only need to pre-configure the desired market conditions. Once these conditions are met, the trade is automatically carried out.

With the Auto-Period Feature, users will enjoy;

  • Automated trades
  • Product Staking, and
  • Market Making

As previously disclosed the launch will take place on May 24, 2022. And will be supported by DEX platforms like Pancakeswap, Quickswap, and Uniswap. Also supported chains include the BINANCE Smart Chain (BSC) and the Polygon (MATIC) chain.

3. Terra Proposal 1623 Governance Voting

The entire Terra ($LUNA) ecosystem tanked about two weeks ago. Despite moves to strengthen the Terra ecosystem, it is still generally in the red zone. It UST algorithmic stablecoin is currently trading at $0.06 instead of keeping its peg with the US dollar. LUNA, on the other hand, lost 99.9% of its total value during the crisis.

In a bid to salvage the situation, the Terra ecosystem has come up with proposal 1623. The proposal will the Terra chain into two (2) separate chains. The existing chain will take the name Terra Classic with the ticker ($LUNC). The new chain, on the other hand, will retain the Terra ($LUNA) name.

Also, voting to pass the proposal is currently ongoing and will end on May 25, 2022. Therefore, interested community members can vote for or against the proposal here.

If successful, the Genesis file of the proposal will be created on May 27, 2022. They will also be closely followed by the official launch of the network on the same day. You can also find out more about Proposal 1623 and its recent amendments in our previous posts.

4. BitMart to Add Support for Realms of Ethernity ($RETH)

Realms of Ethernity ($RETH) token is now trading on the BitMart exchange. In a recent announcement, BitMart discloses that trading of $RETH tokens is now supported on its exchange. Also, the launch of its deposit feature took place on May 21, 2022. Interested persons can also now trade the token starting today May 23, 2022, at exactly 10 am (EDT). This feature will be followed by the introduction of the Withdrawal feature on May 24, 2022.

Also, the supported trading pair is the RETH/USDT trading pair. Realms of Ethernity is a Play-to-Earn (P2E) MMORPG game. It is also now available on Uniswap.

5. UFO Gaming Staking Dapp Launch

Decentralized social gaming platform UFO Gaming will launch its dapp staking soon. As part of the launch, the deposit feature for the dapp staking will also on May 25, 2022. The launch will also signify the launch of The Dark Metaverse.

Also, thanks to the launch, UFO gamers and users will have the opportunity to earn dual rewards.
