Social media is commonly used nowadays. There are many different platforms out there, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and so on. Today I want to talk about a social network for crypto lovers, Torum.

About Torum
If you have used Facebook before, there is no difficulty for you to use Torum. It is similar to Facebook on how you use it, but Torum is designed for prople who loves crypto. You can find anything about cryptos here, from price analysis to news sharing, even NFT giveaways.
You can post anything you want as long as you do not break the rules and terms of service. Spams and scammers are not allowed on Torum and your account will be banned.
There are a lot of new contents introduced to Torum in the H2 of 2021 that you are interested in.

Functions on Torum
Here I will briefly explain the functions on Torum for you to understand Torum before you start using it.
Posts And Threads
The red rectangle highlights the buttons where you can control what you see on your feed. The top 2 buttons let you to choose whether you see posts from whom you are following or those you don’t know. You can be updated from people you are following or discover some awesome contents from those you don’t know.
You can also filter your feed from posts, threads and both of them. Threads are posts from your clans. I will explain it later.
Following
You can find active landers as shown in the above screen capture. Check them out by clicking on the names. You can also be one of them if you are active enough. Posting contents and commenting are the way to be active but never be a scammer or posting spams.
You can also click the Companies section in the menu and follow the companies you want to follow and get it on your feed.
Clans
There are many clans with different topics. Find and join any clans for your interests and interact with other landers.
Missions
There are missions for you to complete and earn XTM as a reward. The missions include daily missions, weekly missions and one-time missions. For daily missions, they are easy tasks to complete, such as creating a post and thread, like and spread a post or thread. For weekly missions, you have to login 7 days and interact with others. There are many other missions that I am not going to list them all out. It is time for you to discover them on Torum.
One thing to be remember is that XTM you earned from missions are locked until you accumulate 500 XTM. This do not include XTM earned from referrals or gifts received by other Landers and only what you earn from Missions. After unlocking your wallet, you can use your XTM for withdrawals or send gifts to your favourite content creators.
Airdrops
It is glad to see ButterSwap launch an airdrop campaign on Torum, featuring 600 limited NFTs for the Torum community.
By clicking the Airdrop button on the top toolbar, you can enter the airdrop page. Complete the tasks to enter the airdrop.
Upon receiving the NFT, you can sell it through the NFT Auction Market (under development) or farm for the NFT reward pool in the NFT Dinner Table of ButterSwap.
