On june 2, CRYPTO.COM a cryptocurrency as well as a payment platform became the first cryptocurrency company to receive ISO/IEC 27701:2019 Privacy certificate after several audit by various third parties. It was announced in it official tweeter page
This make crypto.com the first cryptocurrency to achieved this feat among the crypto community.
What is ISO/IEC27701:2019
ISO/IEC 27701:2019 is a privacy licence issues for enhancing the existing Security System with additional requirements in order to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve a Privacy Information Management System.The audit was conducted by several leading inspection verification and certification company.
Crypto.com had already receive ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification. And ISO/IEC 27701:2019 is the privacy extension to ISO/IEC 27001.
