To take part in this network, you need an Aptos compatible wallet. So, let’s have a look at the current top three on Aptos.
1/ The Aptos wallet experience has been revamped! With Aptos’ new Wallet Adapter Standard, it’s easier than ever to deploy, integrate, and transact across the network.
Aptos users can enjoy this improved experience instantly.

1) Math Wallet
MathWallet is a Web3 multichain wallet. Currently, it connects over 100 blockchains. So, besides Aptos, this includes:
- Ethereum
- BNB, among others.
MathWallet now supports @Aptos_Network
User guide: https://t.co/tbIghfEMYV
Open your MathWallet, you may:
??Switch to Aptos
??Create or Import wallet
??Transfer & Deposit
??Access dApp#MathWalletpic.twitter.com/mcpO3BN2Xz

The wallet also supports cross-chain token bridges. In other words, this is a great addition to the Aptos network. Apart from bridges, this wallet has more to offer, for example, staking or NFTs. There’s also the option to connect to a hardware wallet. This adds extra security, for instance with a Ledger.
So, MathWallet is a non-custodial wallet available for iOS, Android, and also in a browser version. This puts you in control of the private keys. There are no middlemen involved. However, it’s also necessary to clarify that there’s a cloud version of this wallet. This cloud version is a custodial one.
??BIG UPDATE on MathWallet:
We launched MathWallet5 with a bunch of new features:

The wallet even has its own MATH token. Furthermore, there’s also the MathChain. To clarify, this is a parachain on . Another handy feature is Math Gas. It tracks gas fees on various chains. Besides all these pros, there are also some cons to this wallet. One of them is slow customer support.
2) Petra Wallet
Petra Wallet is a non-custodial wallet for the Aptos blockchain organized and counts as my personal fave Aptos wallet. For instance, collections are all in separate folders. Unfortunately, not all wallets have this feature or set-up.
This is also the official wallet developed by Aptos Labs. They are the engineering part of the Aptos Foundation. That’s the firm behind the Aptos chain. Currently, the Petra Wallet is only available as a Chrome browser extension. However, the team is working on adding more browser options.
1/ New to Petra? We’re happy to reintroduce ourselves: we’re your gateway to the Aptos blockchain – brought to you by @AptosLabs

Creating a new Petra Wallet is easy. You can set up a new wallet or import an already existing wallet. To create a new wallet, follow these steps:
- Download the extension on Chrome
- Run Petra and click the ‘Create New Wallet’
- Create a password. Be advised that is not the same as your seed phrase. A password only allows you to access the wallet and nobody else.
- Write down the recovery phrase. This is a set of 12 words. Once you have written them down, secure them in a safe place. Because, whoever has access to this phrase has complete control over the wallet and its assets.
- Confirm the recovery phrase.
1/ Petra v1.1.8 is live! The latest update includes a few big additions to the Petra experience:
?? "Direct" NFT send and receive
?? Non-APT coin register and send
?? LEDGER support
— Petra (@PetraWallet) February 2, 2023
That’s it, you’re done. You just created a new Petra Wallet.
3) Martian Wallet
Martian Wallet is a non-custodial wallet that, at first, it was only available for the Aptos blockchain. However, now the Sui blockchain is also included and accessible. Currently, it’s only available as a Chrome extension. The team is working on an iOS and Google Play version, though.
GM Martians! We have some news for you ??
In the latest @SuiNetwork devnet, they introduced some breaking changes which include changes in address length. https://t.co/k2VxYdav5B
Please update your wallets to V1.4.2 to accommodate the changes.

Switching between the two networks is easy. On the top right of the wallet is a toggle that allows you to switch networks. See the picture below. Both chains use the same developer language, Move.
One great feature is that the wallet lets you discover dapps on Aptos. It also has direct links to the Topaz NFT marketplace. This makes it super easy and convenient to buy your favorite NFTs. The newest feature is notifications. It also has a built-in swap function. There’s also Twitter integration. This allows you to execute self-custodial transactions via Twitter. Well over 100k users already linked to their Twitter account. Plenty of reasons why this wallet is so popular.
GM Martians!
Did you try our new P2P Twitter transactions feature yet?
Do keep in mind
1. Use the correct indentation of the tweet. Do not use any linebreaks or spaces??

We looked at three popular wallets for the Aptos blockchain. All three wallets are non-custodial. MathWallet, Petra Wallet, and the Martian Wallet.
current APT price is $11.48. Its market cap is $2 billion. There’s an infinite max token supply. However, the total supply is 1.027 billion tokens. Of these, only 179.9 million circulate.
