I have done a short research on a few DeFi token on my portfolio list so as to see which one are the most promising. I will try to be short and precise in this article so that i wont waste much of you precious time. For those who have been my followers for some time now i am sure you have noticed that i work more with characteristics and factors concerning the crypto asset in question.
I took my time to analyze these 3 DeFi tokens and checked their capitalization in correspondence to the current and total supply of tokens to be invested in.
- Compound (COMP)
- Maker (MKR)
- Yearn.finance (YFI)
Compound is a landing platform which allows users to borrow loans provided that they deposit some assets for collateral. It also performs a function of allowing investors to deposit their token and leave them there in the pool and they earn interest. The lending field is growing each and every day and for that reason we see the price of Compound token always bullish.
Compound has total supply of 10,000.000 and circulating supply of 5,168,538.45 COMP, then its capitalization is $3,398,823,520. With the lending and borrowing the chances of this token to surpass $10,000 per coin is very high in a few years to come.
Maker has always been my favorite since it was launched in 2017, i always see future when i look into Maker. Its small supply of 1,005,577 give it an edge over other DeFi assets. Its price has gone up and surpassed that of Ethereum and i expect it to surpass $10,000 soon after the correction has completed.
Yearn.finance is my new lovebird, it was launched in 2020 and it was worth around $770 but now it is worth more that the Bitcoin. Just 7 days ago it had an all time high of $93,435.53 and if you look at its supply you will wonder what you are waiting for, it has a maximum supply of 36,666 only. I am sure if you check the price against supply you will understand why i say supply is the major key when it comes to a crypto asset.
