Top 20 Brave Publishers That are Bringing BAT to the Mainstream!

Do repost and rate:

Hello friends!

In any great journey, it's great to know who you've got on your side...and the BAT journey is no different! Today, we'll be going over the TOP 20 most influential creators that are carrying the BRAVE torch, and helping spread adoption of the greatest browser on earth to their audiences.

Some have been very outspoken for their love of Brave, and some have joined the Publisher program in silence. But, the important thing is that they all benefit from BAT's growth, and therefore will become increasingly incentivized to support the project as it continues its takeover.

While reviewing the following influencer accounts, I urge you to take the time to support these Brave-certified creators, or better yet, send them a message encouraging them to post more Brave-promoting content! Remember: the more these top influencers push Brave to their viewers, the higher BAT prices will go. It's simple economics, people! Marketing matters.

(Note: I've researched these publishers beyond just their follower numbers, in order to build a list that I believe takes more important factors into account. For rankings based purely on followers per platform, check out bat.watch.)

Here we go!

20. @sindresorhus (GitHub)

  • The only GitHub account I'm including on this list, Sindre has the largest GH following of all Brave Publishers by a margin of over 10,000.
  • As a nice bonus, he has an impressive Twitter following of over 46,000.

19. @PakoCampo (Vimeo)

  • #1 Vimeo Brave Publisher, coming in at a respectable 7,000 subscribers on the platform (almost 4x the following of the 2nd place spot).
  • While Vimeo may be one of the lesser-used platforms on this list, Some extra investigation proved that Pako definitely deserves a spot on this list because:
    • Twitter: 10K followers
    • Instagram: 22K followers

A diverse audience is important when building an influence online, and Pako Campo seems to be doing an excellent job spreading his assets among different social media hubs.

  • Numbers aside, he's a rare combo of talented artist and early crypto adopter, so I'm betting his progressive marketing will pay dividends for his audience growth in the future!

His website is packed with incredible paintings like this one -- respect!:

18. @SolaryFortnite (Twitch)

  • Solidly the largest Twitch account in the Brave Publisher program, with a whopping 1.4 million subscribers
  • I'm not a Twitch or Fortnite guy, but I do know that gaining large followings on Twitch is very valuable, since its viewers are notoriously dedicated to their streamers. This could definitely pay dividends for BAT and Brave, since an account of this size will have a lot to gain by bringing their audiences into the Brave ecosystem $$$

17. u/advillious (Reddit)

  • 4th largest Reddit Brave Publisher
  • After a bit of research, I found that this Publisher also has a massive Twitter account (over 125K!), including follows from big names like former presidential candidate Andrew Yang.

16. u/GregorCZ (Reddit)

  • 3rd largest Reddit Brave Publisher
  • Earns a spot on this list because he's the artist behind "Loading Artist," a comic which has an audience of nearly half a million on Instagram. (Hopefully BAT tipping will be added to IG at some point in the future!)

15. u/mtimetraveller (Reddit)

  • #1 Reddit Brave Publisher
  • There's no question why this account has made it to the top of the Reddit leaderboard for Brave Publishers, they're the moderator of some HUGE subreddits, including:
    • r/EducationalGIFs (1.5 million subs)
    • r/SpecializedTools (1 million subs)
    • r/ThatsInsane (700K subs)
    • r/EngineeringPorn (600K subs)

and many more. This is a huge amount of online influence, since they have their toes dipped into several different communities at once.

  • Has a decent Twitter following as an extra bonus, of ~4,000

14. @FunnyVines (Twitter)

  • 2 million followers
  • That's a lot

13. @CuteAnimalVines (Twitter)

  • 2.6 million followers
  • That's even more a lot

12. @FreakyTheory (Twitter)

  • 3.6 million followers
  • That's like, a freaking shitload
  • Posts motivational quotes and photos, which I could see performing well in terms of BAT tips (people appreciate getting a boost in their day, and will be more likely to toss a tip their way since it's directly impacted them)

You see 23.2K likes. I see 23.2K potential BAT tippers!

11. Phillip DeFranco (YouTube)

  • 6.5 million subs
  • One of the most seasoned YouTube vets in this list, I've put Philly D. ahead of some larger YT accounts in this list because I know how dedicated his fanbase is. He's been putting out 4 videos per week for SUCH a long time, I really give him kudos for his consistency over the years. His followers have really come to trust his opinions (and he has a lot of them), so that puts him in a good position to reap a great amount of benefit from promoting Brave to his audience
  • Oh, and he was one of the first recognizeable faces I saw on the Brave website when I downloaded it several months ago. Awesome to see he provided a testimonial for the Brave team to put on their website!

10. Bart Baker (YouTube)

  • 10 million subs
  • Like Phillip DeFranco (above), Bart Baker has gone on the record with a raving review of Brave:

9. Vice (YouTube)

  • 13 million subs
  • Internationally-recognizeable brand, with enormous followings on every social media platform under the sun
  • Several sub-channels with multi-million subscriber of their counts.
  • Bottom line: simply massive audience. If they were to make a decent-sized Brave push to their audience, it would spark astronomic user growth for Brave and BAT.

8. First We Feast (YouTube)

  • 9 million subs
  • The main reason why I'm so excited to have FWF on #BATsquad is because of their unmatched network of A-list connections. Basically all of us have seen their "Hot Ones" series recommended at least once in our recommended videos, in which they bring on celebrities to eat hot wings. Seems simple enough, but it's gotten INCREDIBLY popular, as you can tell by their nearly 10 million subscribers.
  • While it may not be upfront, I see a ton of value in the fact that this channel is well connected with all of these celebrities that they bring on board. I can definitely see some behind-the-scenes conversations going on that we may not see in their videos...

"Thanks for coming on the show, Justin Timberlake! I think this episode could break our BAT tipping record!"

"BAT? What's that?"

"Oh you've never heard of Brave? You should totally sign up, you'd make a ton of extra income with it......"

OK maybe it won't be the first thing the producers bring up with their guests, but hey, you never know!

They sure do talk about lots of different topics of this show...I wouldn't be surprised if they mention Brave to their guest + millions of viewers sometime! (Or maybe they already have...I don't actually watch it :D )

7. TmarTn2 (YouTube)

  • 4.4 million subs
  • Smaller than some of the others on the list of YouTube channels, but I'm bumping it up on my influence rankings for one main reason:
  • It's a HUGE channel among the gamer crowd, which is inherently younger, and therefore more likely to be either part of, or interested in being part of the crypto movement. That makes them extra ripe for joining Brave, once there's proper financial incentive for TmarTn to promote BAT tipping to his audience.

6. Trap Nation (YouTube)

  • 28 million subscribers (not counting the additional music channels under their umbrella, including House Nation, Latin Nation, Bass Nation, and more)
  • #1 YouTube Brave Publisher by subscriber count
  • Much like TmarTn's value in exposing the gamer crowd to BAT & Brave, Trap Nation taps into another huge market: music lovers. Isn't it exciting to see BAT reaching all kinds of different niches on the web!?

(I'm also a biased fan for this one, because I've been listening to their channel since 2013 or so :D )

5. Khan Academy (YouTube)

  • 5.9 million subs
  • I'm putting Khan Academy at the very top of my YouTube influence rankings, for a few main reasons:

1. Their channel is very likely to convert high for BAT tips, since people have been gaining immense value from KA's videos for YEARS.

2. They have several sub-channels, which extends their reach to more niche focuses, which will only help their BAT tipping conversion rates among those extra-focused audiences (Examples: KA Medicine, KA SAT, KA Computing, KA Careers and Personal finance, etc.)

You get the idea -- TONS of potential for the KA brand to monetize their work with BAT, which will foster an enormous incentive for them to promote Brave heavily to their broad and thankful audience.

4. WikiHow (Website)

  • Sitting pretty at #98 on the list of most visited websites on the web according to ahrefs.com.
  • Helped me learn how to tie a tie in college

3. The Guardian (Website)

  • A quality contender in the race for largest Brave Publisher website, The Guardian comes in at #46 on the global web search rankings according to ahrefs.com.
  • While it may not have the caliber of ownership as the next online publisher in this list, it's still a formidable force in the Facebook share-osphere, which gives it the firepower potential for some big Brave promotion power.

2. Washington Post (Website)

  • The Jeff Bezos-owned Washington Post is no small fish in the world of web-based news content. Love him or hate him, you can't say that having the richest man on earth directly connected to the BAT ecosystem is a bad thing.

1. Wikipedia (Website)

  • This website needs no introduction. Coming in as the #2 website on the whole internet...C'MON! Wikipedia has been an internet staple since before some of us were born.
  • Wikipedia has been known to occasionally post announcement SITE-WIDE, such as to ask for donations to keep things running. Can you imagine how much exposure could be gained if they posted a Brave referral link to bring more tippers into the space? Holy moly folks...
  • Nuff said. Wikipedia is straight killin' it in the internet influence game, and we should be stoked to have them on #TeamBrave

Alright folks, that's my list! Do you rank your top Brave Publishers differently? Please let me know in the comments!
