Indian IT giant Tech Mahindra plans to build and deploy a range of blockchain solutions on the Amazon Managed Blockchain in the next 12 to 18 months. Tech Mahindra, a subsidiary of the Mahindra Group; It will work on blockchain solutions for the aviation, telecommunications and healthcare industries. It will also run projects for customers in banking and financial services, retail, manufacturing and oil. Their primary focus is to regulate the supply chain in these industries to “facilitate business continuity” even during a global pandemic.
The company plans to use blockchain to help the aviation industry track "kits" throughout the delivery process. They will also develop solutions to help hardware vendors in the telecommunications industry gain better visibility in the supply chain. The healthcare industry will be able to use Tech Mahindra's blockchain solution to track and identify counterfeit medical products, including personal protective equipment kits, face masks, and disinfectants.
Tech Mahindra recently earned income from artists in the media and entertainment industry; It launched a digital contract platform built on IBM's blockchain to help them track royalties and digital rights. In addition, the IT giant has launched an accelerator program with the government of Telangana, the south Indian state, to promote blockchain innovation in the state.
