They haven't come from a far off planet. They aren't interested in doing any probes. You won't be abducted. Fear not, they come in peace.

Bitcoin Aliens is actually the name of a company that has developed five crypto earning apps. They are essentially ad-powered games and faucets that allow users to earn small amounts of crypto for viewing advertisements. The company makes their money from selling said advertisements. Bitcoin Aliens has been around for nine years now, since its inception in 2014 by co-founders Peter and Daniel Bainbridge. According to ZoomInfo, their annual revenue clocks in at $5 million or less per year. They are based out of New York, NY. The four apps that are available for download are:

  • Litecoin Giveaway
  • Bitcoin Cash Giveaway
  • Alien Run
  • Blockchain Game

I myself use the LTC and BCH Giveaway apps, and vouch that they do indeed payout. Although the amounts you can earn on these apps is relatively small, you can earn more with referrals. I think that one of the best things about these apps, aside from earning the free crypto, is discovering other new crypto websites and such from the advertisements. Though I will say that the gross majority are junk ads on there; there are occasionally some websites that are actually pretty interesting. Sometimes I will even stumble upon a new crypto project, before it has become popular.

But I digress. Bitcoin Aliens are indeed in the business of selling advertising. They do a pretty good job of it and entice people like myself to view the ads with the prospect of free crypto. What can I say; it works. Recently, Bitcoin Aliens engaged Playtime to further increase their revenue. "In order to increase revenue and diversify the rewarded experience, Playtime was integrated into both the Free LitecoinFree Bitcoin apps. Bainbridge hoped Playtime would offer users a fun, fast, and easy way to keep users hyperengaged while building an engagement loop between the publisher and advertiser apps."

Keep an eye out for future apps too! Evidently, the Bitcoin Aliens are busy developing an app that will allow users to earn free Ether. You can bet your bottom dollar I will be all over it.
