Theta keeps the updates rolling - new protocol V2.2.0 released
What a year 2021 has been for THETA (aka Theta Labs) another new major movie alliance, yet another Enterprise Validator partner (https://www.publish0x.com/theta-network-basics-in-bite-size-pieces/theta-updates-sony-europe-enterprise-validator-xernwoz) and lest we forget about the price action which has Theta up 29% just in the past 7-days. Not to mention a new ATH which is over $4.25. Can I get a heck ya!
Theta released new protocol update to github - https://github.com/thetatoken/theta-protocol-ledger/releases/tag/2.2.0
Why the update? Performance bugs have been addressed and they sprinkled in a reward feature that will happen on March 10 at block 9497418. Makes me wonder how does this correspond to PUBLISH0X announcement on March 10? Are they tied together? We can hope!
Theta has 2500 Guardian nodes and hopes for 10-12x that value in the next few years (recall in Jan '21) they lowered the staking requirement from 10K Theta to 1000 to get more people to stake on Guardian nodes. Which increases the distributed nature of their blockchain.
Theta Roadmap item - I waiting on this one... TFUEL earning tracker will come to Theta explorer.
Summary - Theta continues to meet their Roadmap advancements which continue to improve their Blockchain and improve our chances of a decentralized reality. I for one am happy to have some exposure to Theta and TFUEL.
