What is Augmented Reality (AR)? Augmented Reality is the use of technology enabling users to merge reality and illusion together to create another reality. I'm sure some of you may have used one of Amazon's newest feature to be able to place furniture with you living area to then see how it would look and fit. Well that is Augmented Reality and this platform is building just for that.
I'm sure everybody knows what Virtual Reality is considering the recent hype behind the Metaverse. So I will not dig further into that instead I will now begin tell you about the platform
The OVR ecosystem will consist of an OVR owner buying digital Real Estate, an OVR Creator creating a 3D visual experience, OVR users enjoy the experiences, OVR Advertisers creating advertisement with AR elements on these digital properties, OVR Miners activating nodes, and OVR Stakers staking and voting. So tokens will always be circulating.
OVR's Market Fit. In 2018 there were various AR technologies introduced to the market and giant corporation such as Apple, Facebook and Google made major investments aimed towards implementing AR technology with content devoted to the consumer market. According to the International Data Group (IDC) consumer industry will expand its footing as the largest spender in AR and VR which will closely be followed by Retail. Which growth is due to every smartphone after 2018 has been fitted with the capabilities to support AR functionalities.
The smart glasses industry has also been booming. Imagine playing in the OVR Metaverse using your DeFi wallet, internet connection, mobile device and having all that connected to a smart glasses to view OVR's Metaverse before your very eyes. According to IDC, the AR market will reach $11 billion in 2020 and it is expected to reach $137 billion by the end of 2024. (Imagine OVR being able to capture even 1 percent of that $137 billion dollars that would be a 44x from the current marketcap of OVR which is just above $41 million dollars, giving a 44x to current investors investment into OVR) Research highlights how the investments of the most important technological cooperate giants show how these companies have understood the enormous potential of AR, not only as a technology, but as a new and powerful communication channel, able to convey any type of content and usable in any sector of industry.
OVR's Marketplace. You will be able to buy, sell and rent land within OVR's native built in marketplace all through the use of an ERC smart contract. On top of making transactions with land, their is also the option to buy and sell experiences! Advertisers can also pay land owners for bit of space on their land to advertise their creatives based on time or performance.
