I was watching some youtube videos last night, just random shit the algorithms were suggesting me, nothing crypto related or anything that I've particularly searched for. I do that once in a while before going to bed, just so I can have beautiful dreams :D.
At some point I watched a teenager's video and when I entered his profile to look for some more content from him, I stumbled upon a video in which he was kind of showing off with his brand new BMW 530i bought with youtube money. The guy in his early 20's was quite proud of his achievements and tbh I would have been proud of that as well...
... If I were in his position. Unfortunately my relationship with money in my early 20's was poor and chaotic and I can only say that I got a bit more mature in this regard since I entered crypto. Some youtubers do make a lot of money, you know...
That guy was active on youtube since 2015, that's over six years now, and he seemed to be doing fine, with almost 10 million views in total and close to 100k subscribers, I'd say he was more than OK. I am on Hive for close to four years now, but I haven't got to that point to afford myself to buy a brand new BMW with blogging money.
I actually haven't bought now BMW with Hive money :D.
The abundance era is upon us and we already see its early signs. Since HIVE has topped at $3.41, it has corrected to as low as $1.38, but it's now back close to $2 and when you look at the chart of the entire year and compare it with most of the coins out there you shall notice that it's doing terrific.
January seems to be the month when Hive "will deliver"... a lot. There's the airdrop from @threespeak#Leomobile is about to be launched and who knows what else... Oh, that game Ragnarok too. I assume that all of this will boost the price quite nicely. The Koreans are already loading up on HIVE, as the volume coming from them is over $80 million the past 24 hours.
If the whole market will be brought to life once again, we're probably gonna see $10 HIVE sooner than most of us expect it to happen. Fuck it, $10 might even be the floor of what's to come and when you find yourself, as a content creator, earning a few hundred dollars a day worth of crypto, you know you're the next level monetized content creator.
"Being paid in crypto" does mean that one has to deal with volatility, but the overall trend for the past ten years or so has been of a continuous rise. I don't believe in bull and bear markets anymore, like we used to have so far, as I see how beautifully this space is expanding. A whole economy is creating around crypto and there won't be much incentives to sell for fiat anymore.
The demand for WEB3 is going to reach unimaginable levels in the years to come and Hive will be there to deliver. I personally admit that I haven't envisioned Hive, soon after the hardfork occured, reaching this level and it looks like it's just getting started. It's probably not yet possible for everyone in the world to make a living by using Hive's capabilities.
I'm pointing here towards all the means through which one can earn crypto on Hive, not only just by curating and creating content, but when the transition from WEB2 to WEB3 will become obvious, Hive's gonna be well positioned and quite a few lights will shine towards it. The next level monetized content creators will be "Hive branded" and the best part is that these won't be earning dollars like the "poor youtubers" do.
Some of us don't even realize how well positioned we are by using this blockchain... I can't be grateful enough for it. Hope everybody's having a great Monday and see you to the next post.
