The magical crypto world is full of promising and exciting examples of how we can become more independent, taking the whole benefits (and responsibilities) of a highly-decentralized social structure and a new paradigm on power relations. The development of blockchain has opened up new horizons started with many previous P2P experiences and, although its huge potential for Web 3.0, still an ambitious experiment waiting for more committed developers than speculators.
But who really wants to be their own master not only managing whole finances, but also assuming all responsibilities in case of a missing seed, misconfiguration of basic security requirements, etc? Ok, there are many people interested and willing to assume those activities and risks associated to them, but I'm not here to talk with "exceptions", I want to reflect about common people. Then, we can talk in "everyone" and a real paradigmatic shift allowed by blockchain. Otherwise, we just change where is the elite controlling technology.
There are many interests on getting rich and make profit on mainstream communities, but few of them understand the power of blockchain to synthesize and canalize social actions on technological platforms to radically change the economy, but also power structures. This is important to take into account when participating of, o developing crypto projects (not only in economics).
There are many points to connect in this decentralized world and, in the next posts, I'm going to cover different aspects of blockchain outside the hype.
