During a live broadcast on YouTube August 29, Ivan Bianco, known as the streamer Fraternidade Crypto, exposed his private key for a wallet. This happened in the middle of a live stream discussing BTC and blockchain games.

While attempting to access his passwords for the Gala Games platform he unfortunately opened a text file on his computer. This file contained not only his Gala Games passwords but also the seed phrase for his METAMASK wallet, that apparently held a big amount of Polygon's MATIC tokens. After accidentally showing both private keys for his cryptocurrency wallets the stream abruptly ended. However, it appeared that it was already too late.

The streamer had a new live stream, revealing that one of his viewers had managed to access his MetaMask wallet using the keys and had stolen his entire holding of 86,000 MATIC tokens. At the time of the incident, this was worth around $50,000.

In an emotional video following the accident the streamer admitted, "I accidentally showed my private key live, and the person had quickly sent it to another address. I tried to close the broadcast and send crypto to another address, but I was too late." In the video he shared a link to the Polygon address of the unknown perpetrator. The 86,000-MATIC tokens had already started to be transferred to other addresses.

The streamer said that he had lost his entire life savings due to this incident, appealing to the thief who took the funds to return them in exchange for a reward. He also told the viewers about his intention to file a complaint with local law enforcement, as approximately 70 people had witnessed the live stream.

Some online sources have suggested that he may have managed to recover at least a portion of the lost funds. But this is not confirmed.
