The Duck Network Failure

A few days ago I published a post regarding this project (Duck Network):https://www.publish0x.com/crypto4retirement/generating-passive-income-with-duck-network-4-6per-day-xqmjego  Today I have to be honest and admit that this project failed. I first thought to "unpublish" the previous post, but I prefer to add this update, since it will always happen that some of the projects in which we invest are successful while others are'nt, such as with this one. Duck network's feature of limiting sales to 40,000 tokens per day became a death trap, as this sale window was captured by bots that liquidate that limit in less than 5 seconds.Furthermore, ordinary people who cannot sell on the site sell at a lower price on PCS, which in time generates a double business for those who use bots, buying at a low price on PCS and selling on the site at a higher price. After several days of denying this reality, the development team, instead of looking for a solution, runs ahead and generates a new clone called Duck Network Reload, which only changes some parameters (for example, the sale window is now set to 80,000 tokens a day) but it does not solve the underlying problem. So, this will repeat the same history. As if this were not enough, the team does not allow the tokens to be migrated from V1 to V2, leaving investors trapped and left to their own fate. Instead of a migration, they only offer a lottery, in which a few "lucky" guys will be able to migrate their tokens from V1 (which at the time of this writing is worth 0.835 busd) to V2 (0.124 busd), which means a 85% loss in value and with no guarantee that the price of V2 will come close to that of V1.As if this were not enough, to participate in the lottery you must block at least 100 busd in V2. Although it is still possible to recover some of the investment (since the app continues to mint tokens, and as long as the value of the $DUCK does not dip, which will happen in the long run) it is important to be aware that this type of thing happens all the time in the DeFi ecosystem, especially as the vast majority of projects are carried out by completely anonymous development teams. We will take this case as a new learning opportunity.Until next time!
