A lot of people are resistance to change, when there is new things on the block they would not even try to take a glimpse and see if it is worth it. Thank God i am not part of that bandwagon.
I always enjoy taking new challenges and adventuring, but there are times when you will realize that some things are not just for you or maybe it can be bad timing but as we all know, "first impression lasts longer". I have uploaded a picture below of what i came through today when i was trying to do a coin swap on METAMASK wallet, i do not want to lie it was so disappointing and i even lost interest is coin token swapping.
I wanted to swap 0.01 of Wrapped Ethereum (WETH) so that i can have UNISWAP token and the wallet took a few seconds finding the best option for me and i was given quotes and the fees were so disgusting.
I was given an estimate of 0.03216 ETH worthy $83.50 and then then the maximum network fee was 0.0567 ETH and that equivalent to $147 of which my transaction was for $25 only and i was supposed to pay those exorbitant fee. It was disappointing i ever doubt if i will ever do a coin swap again.
