Although more and more regulation can be seen taking place in the crypto space world-wide, the space is still ripe with scams, rug pulls, and general nonsense. Some still compare crypto to the wild west of finance. Some of these coins that I have come across may be absolutely hilarious, but also may be part of the reason why crypto is not taken seriously by everyone. However, I did try to only include coins in this list that at least had an ounce of substance to them. To be clear, I do not hold any of these coins nor can I recommend in investing any any of them. I would also like to disclose that I don't really know shit.
Let's get into it:
CumRocket - This coin may be by far the most popular on this list, but it doesn't make it any less ridiculous. CumRocket, or CUMMIES (yes, that's the ticker) is a token focused on building an NFT marketplace for adult content (like NSFW pictures, videos). The dev team also has plans for allowing chat messaging, tipping, and subscription services in the future all on the network. Honestly, If any crypto on this list has a future, it could be this one. I don't see the porn industry dying anytime soon.
Pizza Pug Coin - PPUG is a meme coin powered by the Solana network with a pretty ridiculous name and design. Meme coins don't really have any utility for the most part other than just being fun but hey, Solana has made some crazy gains this past year and is known to be one of the fastest and most powerful networks around in terms of transactions per second and transaction time, this meme coin could be fun and fast. I also have to give the creators credit for thoughtfulness because who doesn't love pizza and pugs?
Usopp Inu- USOPP is a crypto made after Usopp, a fictional character from the wild popular anime, One Piece. Usopp is the sniper of the renowned Straw Hat Pirates. There really is.t too much top say about this coin other than One Piece has millions of dedicated fans (including myself) and the devs honestly put together a pretty cool website. USOPP even has a road map (kind of).
Intergalactic Cockroach - ICC is actually impressive considering how ridiculous the name is. They have a great looking website and a sort of solid looking white paper. The Intergalactic Cockroach is a meme token that was created on the BINANCE Smart Chain Network. For a meme coin with virtually no market cap, it actually seems to have quite a bit of work put into it. The ICC network includes its own Exchange & Swap Platform, Liquidity Providing, Pools, Farms, Lottery, NFT Marketplace and it's own Play2Earn Intergalactic Game and Metaverse.
CosbyCoin - I knew number one had to be something special, so I had to go off CoinMarketCap for this one. Out of all the cryptocurrencies I have ever seen created I think this one takes the cake for being the most ridiculous. COSBY is a crypto made after the popular American actor and probably serial rapist, Bill Cosby. Although, there is really nothing positive to say about COSBY, the website is a complete acid trip.
