Hello everyone! I hope you're doing well, today I'll be covering something else. Where I write mostly about SPLINTERLANDS content, today I will be covering @actifit fitness tracker, it's a move to earn app I started testing in April 2023, where you literally get paid for your activity by getting enough activity points, and make a daily short post about it, the post itself won't take you too much time, more on that later.
I made my first post about this cool app a while ago, you can find it here. So this is really to update the original post because I learned some new cool things and with this, I'm earning $5-10 a month now!
Move2Earn (or short, M2E) was not new for me, I'm already playing Genopets for longer, it combines Pokemon with Tamagotchi from the early days, and it gets you rewarded for your step count too, but since I'm pretty active on the Hive Community Blog where you can earn by writing about really anything as long as it's good content, I thought, well why not test it, it's the same steps anyway.
Since I will post this article outside the Hive Ecosystem too, I'll be explaining some things hivers already know.
So, what do I need?
To start, first you need to create a Hive account, I think this is free via Ecency. There are multiple sites to create a Hive account on, 1 account works on all sites.
next, is making your account on actifit.
If you're new to crypto, this might be challenging but hey, it's the future so you might as well dive into this now rather than later right!?

To start earning on actifit, you need a minimum of 5000 AFIT tokens on your account which you can buy on Hive Engine, relax, it only costs 1$ at current price, I don't know WHAT happened but the AFIT token price just spiked 106%, it was around $0,50 cents to start a few days ago lol.
Of course you need a smartphone or other wearable to track your activity trough the day, the actifit app is available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
How much time does it take daily?
Not much really, it's an extra incentive to get moving on a lazy day because you need a minimum of 5000 activity points daily to be able to post and earn, you can do anything, skating, bicycling, dancing, running, walking... you name it!
To make the post at the end of your day, you only need to type 150 characters I think, so just a few works about what you did that day, my posts on work days are pretty boring but still get rewarded.
How about the money!? ??
When you start, of course you need to grow your account, in the app's market you can buy gadgets with your earned AFIT tokens to boost your future AFIT rewards even more. With a new account, you can only buy level 1 gadgets with lower boosts, but when you're using the app a while you can buy more and more, I'm pretty much buying EVERY gadget except for Sport Drinks, I don't know what to do with these Sport tokens and theyre pretty much worthless,
I first was just collecting AFIT tokens to one day sell them but then learned a far better option, it turns out you can burn 200 AFIT tokens to get a nice phat upvote from actifit! how?
Go to your actifit wallet (if you visit for the first time you might have to log in with your hive account) and click on the thumb icon on the right where your AFIT balance is displayed:
then click the 200 and click exchange
You now enter a waiting list, at this moment I'm getting a nice big upvote every 2 to 4 days but I have to remember to re-enter the list as soon as I got upvoted.
Every post gets rewarded without doing this too, about 10-15 cents (remember you get only half what is displayed below the posts)
So when I estimate I get a bigger $1 upvote every 3 days, that's 10 times a month, so that by itself earns me about $5 and then the rewards from all the small posts combined makes it a nice little extra for doing only a small post once a day.
