TET has risen an impressive 150% since December 26, 2023 where it bottomed at $10.02 before a sudden jump higher to $26.45 at time of writing. It's likely because Staking is now live as of January 1, 2024 on the Tectum blockchain. With staking comes the chance to earn rewards similar to Bitcoin 'mining' by one of three methods:
Full Validator Node
Community Node Validator
All of these require investing in TET tokens and staking them. Full Validator Nodes require 20,000 TET while Community Node Validators require 5,000 and Delegators require a minimum of 100 TET to take part.
Delegators, as a pool, connect to a Community Node Validator which connects to a Full Validator Node. Rewards are shared with everyone depending on how much is staked. These rewards are paid out monthly and can be re-staked to increase your earnings. There are also incentives to 'lock' your tokens for 90, 120, 150 and 180 days to earn up to 25% more.
Tectum's SoftNote app is making it super easy to create Bitcoin wallets with transferable pass codes that can be passed via email, peer to peer and even in print form, similar to carrying around a dollar bill. Merchants who accept SoftNotes as instant payment pay only a 1% flat fee, compared to twice as much or higher fees from credit card companies. The wallets can be filled with whatever amount desired with suggested standards such as $1, $10, $20, $100 worth of Bitcoin Satoshis each.
