SuperTree, the blockchain game developer behind Ethereum-based DApp game CryptoDozer, has generated 3 billion Won in investments from a Series A funding round.

According to the announcement, the South-Korea based company will use the investment to secure IPs for popular games, develop technologies for blockchain gaming, and boost the development of its blockchain game service platform PlayDapp.

PlayDapp is a decentralized gaming platform designed to provide users with e-sport services and a customer-to-customer marketplace where they can trade their assets obtained from SuperTree’s blockchain games.

The blockchain games in PlayDapp, namely CryptoDozer, DozerBird, and Dozer Treasures, are interoperable.

Choi SungWone, CEO of SuperTree, said:

“Through this investment, we are planning to increase the level of development of C2C marketplaces and tournaments that are under development and to reach commercialization soon after going through verification at home and abroad”

The Series A round of financing was led by Korea Investment Partners and SBI Investment Korea, both of which have invested in Korea’s largest venture capital, healthcare, IT, mobile, business-to-consumer initiatives, content and blockchain.
