You already know I like Cardano and the projects that surround it. One of the most exciting projects for me personally is SundaeSwap. With the launch of Smart Contracts after the Alonzo Hard Fork, SundaeSwap is also going live with their service.

About the Project
SundaeSwap is a Decentralized Exchange (DEX) built for the Cardano blockchain. It allows participants of the blockchain to provide liquidity and create a market for others to exchange their native tokens. In return, swappers pay a small fee and liquidity providers earn a return on their deposit. The initial project will be modeled after the protocol popularized by Uniswap, with several innovative adaptations for the Cardano blockchain.

Other notable Decentralized Exchanges next to SundaeSwap and Uniswap are Curve on Ethereum, PancakeSwap on the BINANCE Smart Chain, and SushiSwap and all of them.
SundaeSwap is hosting a Live Demo on August 19
For everyone who is interested how SundaeSwap will look like and how to use it, they are hosting a Live Demo on Thursday, August 19th, at 3:30 PM EST. This is a huge chance to learn some basics, especially if you have never used DeFi (Decentralized Finance) before. Dan Gambardello is hosting a Q&A with the SundaeSwap team before he goes to try out some of the functionality. It will be live-streamed on Youtube and they have announced to share a lot of background to the project.
What's the latest news on the ISO?
ISO stands for Initial Stake Pool Offering. In short, this means you will be able to earn some SundaeSwap token, if you stake your $ADA in one of their Stake Pools during their ISO. SundaeSwap has announced to distribute 1% of its token supply each epoch for a total of 5 epochs (25 days). The Stake Pools are not yet announced and will be run by independent SPOs. SundaeSwap is not taking any of the ADA rewards, so you will get their token on top of your usual staking rewards. There is no minimum of ADA required and everyone is holding any amount of ADA is able to participate.
To confirm the date: The ISO will start once the Hard Fork is done and we enter Gougen Era, on September 12th.
Make sure to get your ADA of the Exchanges before the Hard Fork, to participate. I was waiting a while for this project to finally happen and I've got my ADA ready. Let me know what you think in the comments.
