Webster’s dictionary has a simple definition of Ideas: a thought or suggestion for a possible course of action.
Yet, how do ideas form? Is it as simple as it sounds? Do people derive ‘ideas’ out of inspiration or desperation? Are these ideas any good? Do they have value?
Will this idea appeal to the masses? The world is made up of a plethora of idea makers, seekers, and dreamers.
Dreamers are technically ‘Idea makers.’ While opinions are a dime a dozen, it’s not just any idea that can be labeled in terms of its value. Some ideas are priceless. Like – invaluable in its value.
The world was literally built off ideas of this nature. What was initially scoffed at or called ‘impossible’ sometimes held the capacity to ‘materialized’ into reality.
With that being said, because of someone’s ‘dream,’ a nontangible currency has spread across the cyber world and has revitalized the way we look at investments and currency in general.
Still, there is a risk even in the light of what the future holds. If the world suddenly goes ‘Dark?’
There would be no electricity to power our inventions. What then? Is there a backup? Can we retrieve what we invested when there is no ‘energy?’ I often wonder if we realize that unless we solve the energy consumption crises, the world of cryptocurrencies won’t last as long as many believe.
But there is a ‘Bright’ side.
Ordinally, future generations may resolve this issue, and in the meantime – the ‘now’ generation shall continue to reap the rewards as cryptocurrency grows in popularity. I tend to write a lot, but also I’ve dedicated time to browse and learn more about the ‘market’ regarding Tokens, and Cryptocurrencies.
What makes these cyber transactions such a hot commodity?
Today I learned about: ‘Stellar Lumens.’
Lumens uses an ‘open source’ blockchain network to utilize its payments and digital assets. It takes advantage of the network’s fast speeds transactions fees while bypassing the use of bank institutions to transfer dollars to foreign currencies.
For example, if an individual decides to send an overseas wire transfer they can utilize Stellar Lumens ‘tokens’ for sending payments worldwide in less time, without the middleman ‘Bank Institution’ by exchanging your hard-earned cash to send money globally for a smaller fee than what the banks charge.
Suppose you do a lot of sending money to an individual, let’s say, Europe or the Philippines by using a wire transfer. In that case, it has to go through a bank that must transfer the dollar into euros or pesos; using Lumans to wire transfer seems a smart way to cut out the large processing fees to convert dollars to foreign currency.
Sending currency through the Stellar Lumen system converts your dollars into tokens for a very small fee. It then transfers it to the foreign currency so that the receiver obtains the majority of each dollar sent. Some banks take up to 20 percent with additional hidden fees, and if the money is needed right away by the receiving party, those additional fees can cost an arm and leg, which can be quite expensive for the sender.
Stellar Lumens are ‘tokens’ that utilizes cooperation between the networks instead of competition between the networks to exchange its coins. Thereby, transfer time is faster, and less expensive; the dollar doesn’t lose its value.
As I search the internet for new stuff, I’m attempting to learn about new tokens and currency.
