Splinterlands Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Fog of War

Do repost and rate:

Hello SPLINTERLANDS Summoners! This week's battle mage secrets is Fog of War. In this ruleset, all units lose the Sneak, Snipe, and Opportunity abilities. However, Scattershot still works.

For this battle the rules are:

Fog of War: Monsters lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities.

Earthquake: Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.

All splinters can be used except for Dragon

Maximum of 47 mana.

In this battle, I picked the Light team since it has good high mana units. The Light Splinter also has great flying units.

My team was composed of:

General Sloan for summoner. I would have picked Grandmaster Rathe but I don't have him.

Uriel the Puriefier in the tank position. He is perfect in this ruleset. He has the Flying ability and can heal himself. He also deals a lot of damage and pretty sturdy as tank.

Djinn Renova in second position. I picked her mainly due to her Strengthen ability which gives an additional health to all units.

Adelaide Brightwing in third position. She has great synergy with Uriel the Purifier because of her Repair ability. She can also fly which is needed in the ruleset.

Portal Spinner in the fourth position. I picked him because of his Snare ability which nullifies the flying ability of the unit it hits.

Pelacor Arbalest in the fifth position. He deals insane amount of damage especially with General Sloan summoner. He has the Double Strike ability which means he can deal 6 damage every turn. More importantly in this ruleset, he has the Flying ability.

War Pegasus in the sixth and final position. It also deals ranged damage which is great with General Sloan summoner. He also has the Flying ability as well as Shatter.

With this lineup, I was confident that I will win. However, my opponent picked a team which counters mine. He had Immortalis as summoner which grants Shatter ability to his units so Uriel's shield is broken and thus his utility as tank was diminished. It also countered Adelaide's Repair ability. This is what makes Splinterlands fun. Any team however great can be countered.
