One of the older rare promo set cards that is quite useful in specific circumstances is being highlighted in the Share Your Battle Challenge this week. This is the Silvershield Bard
The Sivershiekd Bard is a 1 mana Life Splinter card with the cleansing ability which comes in handy in matches where all monsters get hit by poison at the start. I use it in specific occasions and it often fits in nicely as a 1 mana filler card. It is also not overly expensive and gives a boost in DEC earnings when it's used since it is a promo card. Overall it's a unique card that certainly has its place in the game.
I love to play the Sared Unicorn as the first-row tank for the Life summoner since it has got so much healing along with armor that it is extremely hard to kill while the high speed and big attack along with Piercing & Trample makes it into a beast. The Silvershield Bard mostly was put in place as a filler card in 2nd row followed by 4 supporting cards that all provide heal or repair which is a play-style that I love. There is not much to say about the win aside from that SPLINTERLANDS remains a pay2win experience where everything but the actual gameplay (Initial learning of the game, Collecting, community, rewards, development, blogging, ...) is what makes it fun. I tried to get into a challenge with the hope that I would enjoy the game more again but honestly I mostly just want to get the daily quests over with each day.

Important: Treat games in the first place as games and not as investment opportunities, Splinterlands allows you to earn some money and get good returns but you are much better off flipping burgers in Mcdonalds when looking at the money earned for the time invested.
