For us SPLINTERLANDS players, the current time is a bit relaxing because the last ranked season only ended a couple of days ago and there’s still almost 8 days left for the ongoing season to end. But still, we have to be active and keep playing each day to fill that focus reward bar upto a good position and collect rewards daily. For me, my own account is right now on rent and earning me money to buy rebellion cards while I am focusing on my scholar account right now. Both the things are going pretty good for me as while I am playing with rebellion cards and learning about them over time, my own cards are earning me money in auto pilot while is helping me to buy rebellion cards one by one, slowly but gradually. Just recently I bought my first max rebellion card and also bought and upgraded some other cards to gold and bronze levels. But the road is long because there are a large no of rebellion cards in the whole card-set and some of them are too much costly at the moment that they feel out of reach. Anyways, I am keeping an eye whenever I get some liquid funds ready and try to book good deals on max level rebellion cards directly and just yesterday, I found out one such card and bought it immediately.
GOBSON SNIPER
Today in this post, I will talk about this particular card that I bought as my second max Rebellion card and as you have seen it in the thumbnail already, let me introduce GOBSON SNIPER, a furious archer who generally lurks behind the deep forest but are deadly when getting attacked. So without any further delay, let us learn about this monster more at below.
Gobson Sniper
Gobson Sniper is a rare type monster card that belongs to the Earth element and it recently came into light after getting launched with the rebellion edition card-set. This monster costs only 5 mana in order to be used in battles and its attack type is ranged. Apart from owning a good ranged attack at decent speed and with large health cap, this monster also holds a bag of 4 abilities - Sniper, Cripple, Camouflage and Strengthen, which helps not only itself but the other friendly monster as well. Now Moving on, let us take a deeper look with its level wise stats and abilities at below.
At level 2, this monster possesses 2 ranged attack at 2 speed with 6 health along with 2 abilities - Sniper and Cripple that it gets from it initial level. With The sniper ability, this monster will target the first non melee monster card that is not at front position. On the other hand, with the cripple ability, each time it hits an enemy card, that card loses 1 max health. So even at bronze level this card is quite powerful with 2 ranged attack coupled with such 2 abilities.
When being pushed into level 3, this monster card’s stat gets upgraded to 3 ranged attack at 3 speed with 6 health along with a new ability - Camouflage. With this new ability of Camouflage, thus card can not be targeted now until it comes to the front position. So this sniper monster will be untouched if rightly placed and until all your other monster dies.
When you upgrade this monster to level 6, it possesses 3 ranged attack at 4 speed with 8 health but it does not get any new abilities at gold league. However, its increased stat makes it a good attacker for medium to high mana limit matches and I am also looking forward to use it against max cards to see how it perform in real battle.
Diamond / Champion
When this card reaches its last level 8, it holds the same stats as of level 6, 3 ranged attack at 4 speed with 8 health but it does get another new ability, Strengthen. With the strengthen ability, it will now provide every friendly Monster including itself with +1 health. So now, this monster will make you line up even more defensive without a doubt and thats why I love this monster so much and bought it recently.
Purchasing the Gobson Sniper
I was not at all planning to buy this monster and it was nowhere in my buy list as well. Nut when I was roaming around the card market and was looking for max or upgraded cards listed For sale, I suddenly Found out this monster listed directly as a max level.
