A strong but high mana monster is the Octopider. With a high range attack and decent health ideal for being place a the rear of the formation. The following battle is my use of Octopider in a battle.
Formations
My plan was to use mainly magic attackers while supplementing with range attack in Octopider. Since the max mana match was 46, consider on the high end, I went mostly with high magic mana monsters in Prismatic Energy, Phantom Soldier and Ancient Lich. The plan was to have LA be my tanker and hold up the formation while the middle and Octopider would take offense and do its best to knock out my opponent. However I did not have to break a sweat in this match as it is quick to see my opponent's formation was pretty much none existant.
I felt compel to post this match not because of the skills or use of Octopider as much as I have never seen such a match before where my opponent rather than fleeing would put in just one monster to compete? Maybe they hit a fat finger and not meant to just have one monster but it is what it is.
Round 1
Does not take long at all to take out Nymph. On second hit after Prismatic Energy and Phantom Soldier the match was over. I would say it could have been even shorter if I simply put in a strong attacking magic monster at the front of the formation, but still the first too was strong enough.
So Octopider did not really see any action in this match but it was much more interesting to see my opponent putting out one monster against my six. I mean Nymph is good but not that good. It is more like a supplement character since it has team heal but won't be much of an attacker if it is by itself.
The match started and ended quick. So quick that only a fled match would be any quicker. I like having these kind of matches as much as possible :p although it sure is rare to see.
