I hope you all have enjoyed the last weekend at its fullest with your friends and family. I also visited my hometown and met with my parents and friends and it was an awesome weekend for me. But I came back to the city today and am now back into my work life. I was only using my phone for the last 3 days and when I came and opened SPLINTERLANDS today, I found out that the bot automation for the modern format has stopped already and splinterlands also introduced new terms and conditions which pushed out when I opened splinterlands today for the first time. Anyways, I signed it and hope most of you have also seen and signed it today. Anyways, the ongoing season has passed most of its time already and only another 5 days remaining only for this current season to meet the end. So, I will be pushing my account from tomorrow and try if I can secure one of the top 3 spots in the Diamond League this time. As of now, I have already come to the 3rd place in the leaderboard but I certainly know that in the last days, players will be more active and the current leaderboard will be changed as the players playing below right now will start pushing their trophy count in these last 2-3 days just like me. So I better prepare myself well for the upcoming bloody battle of the season end.

Just like I use to do as usual, I will again think to rent some good summoners and monster cards for my modern deck that I am currently missing in my account. I have a complete chaos legion card set and almost all the Rift and promo edition cards from the Chaos set also, but sadly, I am lacking so many cards from the old untamed editions and some of them are must have to perform well in the leaderboard as of course, I will be battling against the top OG players. Though there are still almost 6 days left, I will try to reach my goal spot within the next 4 days and if I get successful, I will just take a rest for the last 2 days and recharge my energy bar back to full in the meantime. Let’s see how the strategy goes for this season I am also thinking to change my strategy for the upcoming season where I am thinking to play in the Champion League instead of Diamond. As I am seeing playing of some known champ players, I found out they are earning way more SPS as ranked match win prizes than in Diamond, where winning a ranked match in Diamond league is giving me around 2 SPS but they are getting 8 - 10 SPS in Champ for same. So, I will decide after this season’s result what should I do in the next one.

Anyways, to perform well in high leagues, we must meet those new soul-bound reward cards in our collection now, as players without them have a high chance of losing against the players having them. It's been quite some time since the newest edition reward cards got released and those like me, who play daily have already collected a big stash of those cards. For me, I have 2 maxed-out soul-bound reward cards already, and also most of the rest cards are upgraded to either the gold league or above. As they are close to their max level now, I am showing some trust in them and trying to place them in my lineups, and no doubt, I am getting better results now in my gameplay and thou most of them are yet to become max level, they are powerful enough to bring me some wins even when fighting against max level cards. In my last post, I shared my top 3 common type soul-bound reward cards and for today’s topic - I will be showcasing my top 3 rare type soul-bound cards in this post. So, without further ado, let's now talk about them one by one.

VENARI MARKSRAT

The first card that I want to showcase is my favorite among the whole new edition rewards and I hope many of you will agree with me that this particular card has changed the game recently. Yes, I am talking about the Venari Marksrat card that already made a place in many of your hearts. It is a rare edition card that belongs to the neutral splinter. It costs 3 mana to be used in battles and its attack type is ranged.

Right now, I have a level 7 of this card and I often place this monster in my lineup mainly because of its Martyr ability. This newly launched ability is creating quite some buzz in the arena while changing our old gameplay style. At max level, this card has 2 ranged attack power at 3 speeds with 4 health and 3 abilities - Martyr, Snare, and Shatter. Apart from the first ability, the Snare ability makes it a good choice against flying monsters while with the shatter ability, this card will easily break the thick armors and help to kill those enemy beasts faster.

RAVENHOOD WARDEN

The second card that I will be talking about today is the Ravenhood Warden, as I am personally using this card a lot lately and also seen others using it often mainly because of its protection ability. This is also a rare card that belongs to the Death Splinter. It costs only 4 mana to be used in battles and its attack type is ranged.

While with the launch of this card, we players get a good replacement for the Tower Griffin card but with some more extra advantages. At max level, this card gets 2 ranged attacks at 3 speeds with 4 health and 3 abilities- Protect, Inspire, and Fury. Not only it protects your other friendly card with a layer of armor, but also helps your melee-friendly monsters with more attack power and does more attack when facing a Taunt ability enemy. So, overall I would say this is an overpowered card considering its mana cost.

WAR PEGASUS

The last card on my list would be none other than the War Pegasus because thou I have upgraded this card only to level 5, it has become very beneficial for me lately when I feel the need of using flying monsters in my lineup. This card is very useful in medium to high mana limit matches because of its mana cost and when going offensive, this card has the potential to satisfy you in battles. This is a rare edition card that belongs to the Life Splinter. It costs 7 mana to be used in battles and its attack type is ranged.

I like to use this card in battles mainly because of its high attack power with flying ability. The modern life collection is full of melee and magic monsters and this card fills the need for ranged cards when playing high mana limit matches. At max level, this card possesses 4 ranged attacks. 5 speed with 9 health and also 3 abilities - Flying, Shatter, and Demoralize. This card will reduce melee attacks of all enemy monsters while breaking their armor with one blow thanks to its shatter ability. So as an attacker card, I would give this monster a higher value right now and also want to upgrade it soon to max level.

I hope you all liked my top 3 choices in rare edition soul-bound reward cards just to clarify, didn't choose any summoner cards in this post as my summoners are only upgraded to Goal league, so I am not using them right now cause I get only paired up against players with max cards lineups. Please let me know which cards you guys like to use among those 3 and what your favorite rare card is as well in the comments below. That's it for today and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
