There are few lessons I learned the hard way at , and never consider a battle won until it ends is the most important. What is very important as well is to never stop improving!
I was fighting to reach Silver II for months and always failed with one or two battles to go. My deck got better and better from reward chests and the overpowered brawl cards and I was still failing .... until I didn't!
The new game changes helped me reach the Silver II ranking for the first time, and sweet sensation of sampling silver success was amazing! The Gladiator cards done that extra little push, and I can honestly say that the Bloodlust cards helped me achieve this milestone.
The higher you climb in the league... the more reward points and the better chests you can unlock. The chests rewards during the next season will bring 0.8% more Legendary chances and an extra 2% chances on unwrapping gold foil cards! Game On Battle Mages!
Why I am praising the gladiator cards just now? Not much by choice but because I was guildless. Not being in a guild was the reason I didn't brawl, as this type of large tournaments involves guilds fight together against other guilds.
Several guilds all facing off against each other, competing to earn Crowns and Merits. Up to 10 guilds of the same Tier are randomly grouped together for each Brawl, and the fights are completed in Wild format. I got the taste of PvP and started earning merits and buying Gladius Cases. All the 32 Gladius cards have the Bloodlust ability, earning +1 to all initially non-zero stats per defeated opponent.
The Gladiator cards are more powerful then normal cards, but there are SoulBound. This cards can be played only in brawls, and can't be traded, delegated, rented, or sold. Only one Gladiator card can be selected for a battle, but is no limit of the number of Gladius Cases that can be purchased in the Guild Store.
Guild glory takes time, and I can say I adapted well to the Yield Guild Ravens. The Yield Guild Games (YGG) is a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) bringing players together through blockchain-based games.
I always had a decent performance in brawls, linking few good wins and helping my guild towards the hot spots ... but never won all my games. Same as with Silver II... I kept failing but never stopped trying. Another great milestone achieved during the same season, winning 7 out of 7 battles.
Let's celebrate together and let me show you two top battles, a fatigue draw and a carnage with golden foils! I think draws are still very rare, and always entertaining. I remember a draw that was awarded without any round played, when we both had the same summoner and just Djinn Oshannus, and this battle is somehow similar!
Twin Waves Will Break On Shore! Twin rivers... with both teams set on Water Splinter, Kelya as a summoner, Djinn Oshannus as a tank, and a healer behind for support. This nearly identical set-up was the result of the battle-rules: Keep Your Distance and Fog of War! No melee monsters could be used, and the Opportunity, Sneak and Snipe were removed.

Ice Pixies: Caster with Flying
Crustacean King: Support with Healing
My opponent mirrored my set-up and tactics, with Oshannus as a anti-magic tank. The Merdaali Guardian was the healer choice and Igor Darkspear as a 2 mana filling card. Igor has more health than my Ice Pixies but this wasn't an issue on the long run.
Oshannus with reduced damage on Oshannus, my pixies with no damage at all, and then a heal that brings both Djinns at maximal health... this was how the stuff happened in the first 20 rounds. Fatigue kicked in at the start of the 21st round, and the Ice Pixies were the first to face demise.
Took another three rounds to bring it close to the finally, and the Djinns were panicking in front of the imminent death! The battle ended undecided in the 24th round, after a 4 damage fatigue cleared the floor! See the full battle here!
Gold Rush and Ferocity! I didn't expected to see so many Gold Foil cards when I selected my team, and definitely didn't expected such a turn of events when I seen what an over-powered team my opponent had. At least we had 43 mana cap to choose a strong team, plus Ferocity and Target Practice as battle rules. All monsters with Taunt will take double damage, while all ranged and casters will gain Snipe at the start of the battle

The opponent went for a full sharpshooters team, with General Sloan boosting the ranged damage and the Warrior of Peace demoralizing my team with reduced melee damage. However, the Demented Shark inspired my monsters to full power, and the battle was ready to rumble
Was obvious that the Crustacean King will be the first victim, as all the archers with Snipe will target the sea food. The Axemaster was next on the death-notes, but he dodged two attack... only after he missed one on the Gargoya Devil. Was a duel between boosted arrows and boosted swords, and my attack went plus one once the Warrior of Peace was defeated.
Let it be carnageeeeee! The Gargoya Devil, Rune Crafter and Pelacor Arbalest were all down after a series of successful over-powered melee attacks. I lost my Axemaster but the tides of the battle were already turned in my favor. The Costal Sentry is both beautiful and deadly, unleashing lethal double blows to trespassers!
The duel ended quicker then I thought, and with an outcome that pleased my golden army. The shiny sea team had embraced the ferocity of the waves and crushed the opponents. See the full battle here!
