Crypto Reward Scheme Offers Insight to Improving Transparency
The data providers get crypto when their information is deemed valid by the community. Additionally, the crowdsourced data is fully auditable and traceable, creating a transparent supply chain between the sources and outputs of AI models.
According to Synesis, the is the first project to incentivize the transparency of AI data collection. Other firms have needed political pressure to foster responsible data collection.
For example, companies launching products can only create AI products with data aligned with socialist ideals. In addition, firms have only 10 days to register generative products.
So far, Chinese companies Alibaba and Baidu have released AI products using socialist ideals.
AI Data Providers Challenged to Limit Access
However, companies in regions offering access to a wider range of information can magnify systemic biases exponentially.
