After the release of SAGA on the 13th of April I thought we would have plenty of YouTube videos with people showing off and talking about it, but this didn’t happen yet.
We can find plenty of older videos, only a few new, but nothing special. No camera reviews, performance, comparisons to other phones, etc, nothing. I would think by now someone would have done one. Two weeks is enough time and some people had access to this phone much sooner.
This tells me there isn’t much excitement around this phone and Solana didn’t do the best job marketing it with gear reviewers on YouTube, or they are just not interested in reviewing it.
The main focus is on the web3 features I can understand that however day to day performance is also very important for potential buyers.
This phone is definitely a success for developers that are being somehow pushed back by Apple and Google policies.
I wish I had one I would do a proper review of this phone for an average users, but I am not willing to spend $1000 to be a tester and a reviewer. lol
So is SAGA worth it?
If you are a developer - sure! If you are an average user? We don’t know yet, we know that there are some NFTs that come with SAGA $20 USDC and some SOL to try out the blockchain. So currently it looks like you give me $1000 I give you $20 type of thing.
Lets give it another month and see if there are any useful reviews!
