SingularityNET, Cardano's first token migration

While researching one of my many topics I love, artificial intelligence, and how to code or convert existing code to build my own open source AI, I couldn't help but run into Sophia the robot. Famous to the world as the artificially intelligent robot featured on late-night talk shows, being able to respond to basic conversations with people, or being considered the worlds first official robot citizen, it is a prime example of how fast AI is progressing and becoming more commonplace in our everyday lives. In deeper dives on how Sophia was built and its software was run, I came across a name that would stand out to me even a year later as I researched AI use cases on the blockchain. SingularityNET, and it's partner Hanson Robotics are the two driving forces behind this amazing AI powered robot, and its remarkable abilities. I'm here to discuss why Sophia may be just the beginning of the AI revolution, and why SingularityNet's AGI which is Cardano's first token migration, may revolutionize blockchain AI integration on the Cardano Network and put a stop to big tech's AI monopoly.

But first, in case you missed it, in  one of my prior posts I discussed a company that I believe has a great shot for everyday adoption: Revuto. In the article I explain how by signing up with just an email, you can get 10 of Cardano's first coins issued, for free, and a get an early jump on investing in a new ecosystem.

SingularityNET is the world's first decentralized AI Oracle and Artificial Intelligence Platform. It runs a marketplace that allows developers, websites, apps or dapps to run an AI, or multiple AI's in conjunction on their platforms, based on their needs. The platform also allows developers to sell their own AI programs and services to others. The Decentralized oracle service acts as a "hivemind" for these AI programs, controlling them. Multiple AI's can be layered on platforms and run independently while working in conjunction with one another to achieve more complex AI features, just like they were with Sophia. These separate AI programs can be used to create complex interactions with users that are easy to use and make the user experience more fluid on apps, dapps, or websites

Ok. So they built a robot.

As impressive as Sophia is on SingularityNet's part, it's of little use to us. It doesn't make an impact on our daily lives, and we won't have advanced humanoid robots for another 100?0?  years ??. What matters is the speed at which humans have begun to intact with AI's daily, without even noticing it. Alexa, Siri, Google assistant are all prime examples of how we don't realize it. Even Cortana , the personal assistant on Windows is considered an AI.  As AIs become more integrated into our daily lives through apps, dapps, and websites the demand for their services are only going to go up.

Why does this matter?

People are starting to wake up to big tech's abuses with our information. With the need for privacy more and more visible every day, they are starting to move off their platforms. Businesses and governments using their services are no different, and they too have suffered the abuses of privacy from big tech. SingularityNET is seeking to become decentralized and democratized AI competition to big tech companies. Decentralized AI ecosystems will allow businesses to offer AI integration into their sites without compromising user data to big tech, all while being able to customize how the AI functions for their specific business needs. As a one of a kind AI marketplace, SingularityNET has all the cogs to be a player on the Cardano ecosystem for a long time to come for anyone needing AI services for their app, dapp, or website. For those that can't, or don't want to build their own, it's much easier to buy one from the marketplace, or let SingularityNET create  a custom AI for you.  The use cases are endless for easy AI integration into services, apps, dapps, etc,  with smart cities and services being the first coming to mind.

Take away

Ai and Blockchain together is set to disrupt big techs monopoly over AI in a huge way. Building powerful decentralized AI ecosystems, where all participants can work together and anonymously to build AI solutions that are for the greater good, will allow people to leverage the power of AI for their benefit instead of companies like Google.  SingularityNET is already a successful business, a first of it's kind platform, has actively developed and fully operational products released onto the market, and has the backing of Cardano and IOHK (They even share a HQ). I can see SingularityNET being the go to platform for AI integration into apps, dapps, and websites connected to the Cardano Blockchain, in particular, ones that may be built in developing countries that Cardano is seeking to bring financial freedom and identity to. With a wide array of Ai programs already for sale, and custom ones offered, it will look to be the alternative source of AI services for many users, and direct competition to the big players in the game.  That being said, this is by no means advice to invest in this company or "ape" into the coin without doing your own research. ??
