Cryptocurrency – SCALA (XLA)

Prolog: What is Scala?

As their official wiki says - >„Scala is secure, private, and mobile-friendly cryptocurrency linking IPFS and distributed technologies to build a globally scalable ecosystem. It provides an opaque blockchain, untraceable payments, unlinkable transactions, and blockchain-analysis resistance.”.

How does it look while actual using XLA? I made a test transaction while checking exchange on which XLA is listed – Exbitron (unpopular exchange which i didn't know, so great occasion to check it). I sent 93 XLA to Exbitron, fee was 1,2 XLA so for now it's under 0.01 $, transaction. Transaction was sent 19:04 and came on Exbitron 19:07:37, so we can assume the transactions are pretty fast, especially when depositing on exchanges takes more time then transferring between wallets.

So what XLA can offer to encourage us to use SCALA, and now comes the real fun:

1. Implemented technologies like IPFS, WebTorrent while using CryptoNote protocol for financial aspects gives us a first sign of which road team has chosen. We have coin focused on privacy and anonymity – Untracable payments, unlinkable transactions, double-spending proof, blockchain analysis resistance, zero confirmation transactions and of course CryptoNote. Our privacy is safe now.

2. Mining – why I am writing here about something that is common for almost half coins? I have one reason, YOU CAN MINE SCALA WITH YOUR PHONE! Yes, the first coin which can be mined by your phone with you CPU power (poco F1 rocks!), of course there is miner app for Android (iOS under develeopment), app is extremly easy to configure, team provides every guide (attached on bottom) to how start mining SCALA on phone or PC.

3. Wallet – Simple wallet with standard functions SCALA VAULT, app for Android, wallet for PC is called SCALA Electron Wallet. I used both of them and I preffer SCALA VAULT becasue of easy configuration and no problems with Daemon (which gives me headache on PC)

4. APPS – We have few apps already deployed by SCALA team, IPFS file sharing (pretty useful if you want to share with somebody a photo or any other type of file, after brief period it's deleted from server), ScalaPay is a web-based payment gateway with anonymous zero-confimration transactions, compatible with the Point-of-Sale system, provides webhooks and simple one link integration.

5. Community – Last but not least... WOW! I have to admit that never, ever before I have seen so integrated and loyal community with team speaking so freely with users, you just need to see it with own eyes. Community Contribution System can even provide you some income, for helping promote project, you can contribute your own idea and everyone will listen to you, help you and make your dream come true. CCS is located on Trello, the easiest way to join it is through link on official TG group (attached below).

Epilogue: Is it worth our time?

I will answer it now, of course it is! Project is young, it's a fork from Monero, grants you a privacy and anonymity, you can learn many new ways in developing new functions by using CCS and gain rewards for it, community is fantastic, and fees are low (regards Erc-20), transactions are fast. Spread the word, work with team by contributing ideas, promoting, creating apps, or even helping new users to find themselves in SCALA project.
