Finablr- a global payment platform, a RippleNet member, and Samsung Electronics America partnered to offer a new money transfer feature at Samsung Pay. This new service will provide seamless and secure cross-border payments to 47 countries using different payment methods.

Samsung Pay and Ripple partner Finablrs at the same time

The companies have signed a new partnership to provide cross-border international money transfer services to users. This new feature combines the convenience, scale, and security of Samsung Pay with Finablr’s international reach and 40 years of experience. Finablr partnered with Ripple in 2018 to launch a cross-border transaction service to Asia using Blockchain technology. Finablr is already working with Ripple’s solutions, although the new partnership with Samsung Pay does not specifically mention the use of XRP or Ripple’s services.

The new Money Transfer service is supported by Travelex, which is part of the Finablr group. With this new service, users will see improvements in transparency, security and compliance. Sang W. Ahn announced that Money Transfer is the first step in its vision to turn Samsung Pay into a platform to make users’ financial lives easier. Finablr CEO- Promoth Manghat said that the new service demonstrates their ability to renew payments; and the new partnership is developing its mission to provide new and innovative solutions to consumers and individuals around the world.

Samsung extends Blockchain-related services

Samsung is also expanding its Blockchain-related services and using technology to provide better solutions to customers. Earlier this year, Samsung launched a new Galaxy S10 smartphone with a crypto wallet that allows users to store their private keys. Ripple also works with a large number of companies from different countries and regions. Currently, there are more than 200 customers using RippleNet, including banks and other financial institutions. In the future, the number of companies using the XRP digital presence may increase.
