It's true there are many scammers, phishing sites, rug pulls however airdrops are the fastest and most profitable way to make money. To this list we must add LayerZero (check June 20, 2024) and Blast (June 26, 2024). Then others that will arrive are Hyperliquid, Zeta Markets, Sanctum, Scroll, Linea and perhaps Base. Hey but I don't know if I'll be eligible, I hope!
I must underline that things have not always gone well. I sold about 900 $Tia at $2.30 (ATH reached almost $21!!!). Seeing today's market situation, I regret not having sold $Dym and $Saga at around $7 but my bags are staked and we'll see what happens in the bull market! Furthermore they are airdrop: crypto free.

interesting airdrop season that could emerge is the one on Telegram (TON blockchain). A "game-play to airdrop" that announced token on June 14 is Catizen.
