Btrax, a design consulting firm based in San Francisco, has declared a partnership with Ripple, a blockchain firm. As part of the partnership, they will create a Web3 design lab with the XRP Ledger at its core.

The new service is meant to aid Japanese businesses in accelerating the growth of their Web3 businesses. Takahito Iguchi, the creator of Audio Metaverse, will serve as the lab’s chief advisor. Iguchi established the Tokyo-based augmented reality business Tonchidot in 2008.

Additionally, he unveiled Dabel, a distinctive voice streaming service. The initiative will be centered on fostering the development of Web3 and enlightening Japanese businesses on use cases related to it.

To create fresh business concepts for Web3, camps and workshops will be held in San Francisco. The firm will also do market research on current trends and advancements. The most recent collaboration was referred to as a “testament” to the durability of the XRP LEDGER by Emi Yoshikawa, vice president of strategy and operations at Ripple.

Japan’s market has long been a stronghold for Ripple. To enhance cross-border payments to the Philippines, it teamed up with SBI Remit, the biggest money transfer company in the nation, last year. Before deciding to stay in San Francisco, Ripple explored transferring its global headquarters to Japan.

Despite the legal crackdown in the US, the firm keeps expanding globally. Additionally, Ripple announced the debut of a new On-Demand Liquidity service last month (ODL).
