REVV Racing to Introduce New Ways to Earn Tokens

Do repost and rate:

REVV Racing will introduce new ways for gamers to earn from their in-game races by introducing two new tokens and a so-called Fusion System. The biggest car racing game on the blockchain will use Catalysts (CATA) and Shards (SHRD) to allow players to upgrade their NFT cars. The announcement boosted user activity on the platform by 66%.

The upcoming Fusion System will bring significant updates to car rarity in REVV Racing. For the moment, the majority of car NFTs in the game are of common rarity, save for several special cases like Apex cars and Legendary NFTs. However, with the introduction of the CATA and SHRD tokens, REVV Racing opens up a chance for players to combine common cars into rarer NFTs.

The Fusion System will bring major improvements to the way players boost their performance in-game. Combining common cars into better-performing NFTs will also have a positive impact on player earnings. Considering this, it is no surprise that the REVV Racing platform has seen a steady increase in unique active wallets interacting with it in the past week.

Every car has a limited amount of free tries to race the track, after which players need to pay REVV tokens to give it a try. Therefore, the racing platform also saw a significant spike in the number of processed transactions by close to 90%. This, in turn, pushed the transaction volume for REVV Racing more than 80%, bringing the total value to upwards of $500.000 in the past seven days.

How does the REVV Racing Fusion System work?

The two main components of the new Fusion System in REVV Racing are the two utility tokens mentioned above: CATA and SHRD. Players will need CATA tokens and car NFT blueprints to fuse together a new car. All REVV Racing car NFTs come with blueprints.

To get CATA tokens, racers need to complete laps on the REVV Racing track. While at the moment, players only earn REVV tokens, starting in early December, the platform will also launch SHRD rewards. Using SHRD tokens players can create CATA. Shards are earned based directly on how many races you have completed in REVV Racing. More specifically, the amount of Shards you make is determined by the number of laps and length of the track. Spend REVV to race, spend time in the game, and you will earn SHRD for your dedication.

Players will need enough CATA and REVV tokens, and the blueprint for a common car to mint new NFTs. Once they have these in the pocket, racers can mix the ingredients together in the Fusion System. The result – a brand new, rarer, and presumably faster and improved car NFT.

This new play-to-earn and upgrades mechanic will allow many players to boost their performance on the REVV Racing track. DappRadar will continue monitoring the game as more players flock to try out the new features.
