You acquire real knowledge as an important part of your life, even more so when you are in training. But it is difficult to imagine what is the purpose of knowledge and what are the results that can be obtained, if there is not a conscious position of your passion or vocation.

In the following article I want to raise the problem to acquire real knowledge, knowledge with purpose; correctly oriented to each of the individual and social vocations. The aforementioned is significantly detrimental to society and day to day performance as a UNIQUE AND AUTHENTIC BEING.

Real knowledge is given in a true form, when you acquire it thanks to the effort of the intellect, but not by memorizing it. @ELSERMILLIONARIO

I once had the joy of being an Occupational and Vocational Counselor for a period of 4 years. Every day I oriented around 22 people in the elaboration of their resumes, preparation for job interviews and vocational profile test.

Those people were from different careers and levels of training (professionals, technologists, technicians, high school graduates and without any study "pure empirical knowledge"), but the vast majority and we are talking about 80% of them were professionals and technologists "SUPERIOR TRAINING" from Colombia, my country.

Has knowledge become just another number for Educational Institutions or can they really do no more because of the political system?

Now let's go into the numbers, in order to illustrate the point I wish to make.

Nationally we were about 800 people performing the same functions as mine on a daily basis. Let's assume that each of these people has an average of 22 orientations. A small operation is all it takes to determine the number of job seekers who were oriented on a daily basis: 17,600 users.

As I mentioned before, those "prepared" people, ready to start both labor insertion and entrepreneurship, had no idea how to think for themselves, they had no clear idea of what they could do with the knowledge they had acquired, much less who they really were.

They arrive with their titles, as if it were a catwalk of diplomas. Diplomas that many do not even give the value that is due, sometimes they say with disconsolation that is my "PROFESSIONAL CARD". Not to mention their aspirations and much less their KNOWLEDGE.

Real knowledge or human machines with memorized information?

What did I look at and what do I look at; little machines that only learn by heart the answers for the exam, information to repeat in the expositions, only trained to pass the exam (Damn education system of the stone age).

And to know that with that same system I was educated, but for some strange reason, I didn't memorize easily and I didn't even care about the grades. (That's a good topic for a future post).

All of the above is not to blame you, much less to make you feel guilty, nor to create in you negative feelings or thoughts regarding your education. But all this can be explained with a fabulous phrase "The best way for a ruler to stay in power, is by not educating his people."

What I do want to tell you is: Study for passion, not to follow a line of generations. Prepare yourself with love, not because you have a degree. Choose your vocation, because it is the activity that makes you feel good, not because it makes good money.

Keep in mind that money will not make you a better person, nor will it make you a worse person. Money will give you the facility to give happiness, to make this world a better place every day. Do people corrupt money or does money corrupt people, no doubt money is corrupted by people. Money is simply waiting to do what you want it to do.
