QLC Chain, a decentralized network-as-a-service blockchain, announced that its native Q-Wallet is adding OK Blockchain (OKB) as the first ecosystem partner.
Q-Wallet is an open communication resources marketplace, and accepts QGas as a coupon for mobile top-ups. With the partnership, Q-Wallet will enable OKB token holders to recharge mobile plans for all Chinese mobile operators.
In the near future, QLC Chain will support the issuance of OKGas, backed by OKB, along with staking with cross-chain operation between QLC Chain and Ethereum. OKGas will be consumed for Chinese mobile subscribers’ top-up discounts.
Q-Wallet
Following the successful launch of Q-Wallet with support for mobile top-up discounts for all Chinese mobile users, Q-Wallet has grown to be an example of a real use case for cryptocurrencies. A successful mobile top-up via Q-Wallet introduces blockchain-based receipts for communication expenses.
Q-Wallet can support more GAS-enabled tokens, including ERC-20 tokens, as utility fuel for mobile communication service.
The expansion of Q-Wallet will continue to include more ecosystem partners, contribute to cryptocurrency adoption and trustless communication service offerings.
In later developments, Q-Wallet will be expanding communication service adoption using crypto tokens from mobile plans to a variety of cloud communication services including video call/internet speed up/CDN/IP address proxy/IoT devices.
